Senior Frontend (React.js, React Native) Developer



Location: Stockholm (Hybrid - 2/3 days/week in office)

You'll be joining a medium-sized IT team (around 50-60 people plus consultants) that's currently transitioning away from external contractors to build internal capability.



The Role:



We're looking for a Senior React Native App Developer to help build and scale a mobile platform that supports a wide range of users and services. You'll be working on a product that directly impacts thousands of users in both public and private sectors, helping them access and manage essential services through a modern, intuitive mobile experience.



Responsibilities:

* Lead the development of new features and improvements in a React Native mobile application
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
* Navigate complex technical environments and integration's with internal APIs and third-party services
* Take ownership of technical projects from concept to delivery
* Drive clarity and progress in ambiguous or evolving requirements
* Ensure performance, scalability, and security across the mobile platform



Tech Stack:

* React Native (must-have)
* TypeScript
* RESTful APIs
* CI/CD pipelines
* Azure DevOps (preferred)
* Experience with native modules (iOS/Android) is a plus



Requirements:

* Development and maintenance of mobile applications with React Native
* Expo for building and distribution
* Redux Toolkit (RTK) for state management
* React Navigation for navigation
* TypeScript for robust and modern development

Desirable skills:

* React Hook Form and Zod for form handling
* Google Analytics to understand and optimise user behaviour
* Datadog for monitoring and performance tracking
* Tailwind CSS for styling and design
* Local-first architecture to handle offline functionality and efficient synchronisation
* Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
