    A financial services company based in Warrington are looking to hire a hands on PHP Lead Developer. This role will be responsible for the technical work allocation of the development and/or new features or system enhancements. This role will have day-to-day interaction with business analysts, project managers and other supplier-based developers.



    Responsibilities will include:

    * Overseeing the support and development of an existing robust web application using PHP and Laravel frameworks

    This is not a highly technical engineering role. Instead, the successful candidate will design and implement a service transition framework to manage high volumes of change across data platforms, ensuring operational safety, consistency, and service quality.     You will lead a team of experienced professionals, including two Vice Presidents initially, with the potential to manage up to ten direct reports as the function scales. Success will be measured by the quality of service delivered to internal engineering teams and stakeholder feedback.
