Leading a cross-functional cloud platform enabling team, playing a key role on its cloud journey for both application and data solutions for a B2C product, working closely with product teams.

Skillset:

* Leadership experience of technology teams.
* Coaching & mentoring of developers.
* Experience of ideally GCP/AWS with DevOps tooling.

DevOps Engineer

£65K Base + UK wide remote

We help our customers see the value in Data. Partnered with Amazon, Oracle and HP we've built an API-first Platform that helps our customers optimize their marketing by using data driven approaches to improve marketing campaigns and lead quality.

The role:

As a DevOps Engineer we can offer you ownership projects as you help build and scale our AWS hosted platform. This role combines building new AWS infrastructure using Terraform and containerizing our platform with Kubernetes (EKS). We are looking into migrating our platform into AWS Serverless so will certainly be training people on AWS Lambda and API Gateway.

Progression:

With ownership on DevOps projects, there's a clear progression into a Senior role within the team. With AWS being one of our biggest customers we also doing lot's of work trailing newer technologies such as GenAI, AI & ML and AWS Serverless - we can offer dedicated training across all these areas!

Location: The company is located in Brussels and they're doing everything in-house, from their office. They're also offering hybrid work with 2-3 days remote.

Key Skills

* Fluency in Dutch/French and English. If you have lots of experience and you're not speaking French or Dutch on a good level, the company will be open to meet you.
* Experience of, at least, 3 to 5 years in Cloud Architect roles, together with Cloud Certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP). The client prefers Azure, but if you have deep experiene in AWS/GCP and you want to work with Azure, don't hesitate!
* Knowledge and previous experience in best DevOps Practices and DevOps/Cloud Engineering tools and technologies like CI/CD, Kubernetes, Containers, Scripting, Configuration/Automation. .Net/Java knowledge would also be a big plus to have.

Role & Requirements

You'll be one of the main point of contacts in consulting the client about cloud architecture and technical strategy, to reach their goals. In your role, you'll be assisting customers to adopt and implement the best Cloud Architecture & strategy to transform and evolve their environment, according to their needs. Your proven experience and knowledge in DevOps Practices and Cloud Architecture will play a crucial role in understanding what is the best approach/design for each client. You'll assist the clients in shaping the best technical quality, adapting the right engineering mindset and approach.

* Experience of, at least, 3 to 5 years in Cloud Architect roles, together with Cloud Certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP).
* Customer facing with experience in leading deep technical architecture and application design discussions around cloud deployment. Presentation skills are quite handy too.
* Proven professional experience with Azure Cloud, including proper understanding of the DevOps philosophy (incl. automation, CICD..) and IaC (Terraform or else). We expect you to have proper scripting skills (Python or Powershell).
* You have worked with Containers and, ideally, Kubernetes.
* Experience with .Net is a big plus

DevOps Engineer

Who we are:

We are an AWS SaaS company based in the automotive industry, through harnessing AWS we provide a variety of products and software offerings to our customers, we work with the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Nissan, Ford and many more!

The role:

As a Platform Engineer you will be helping Terraform our whole environment and building scalable AWS Infrastructure. We are looking to migrate our ECS Clusters from EC2 to ECS Fargate deployments, so you'll be working closely with containers we use both ECS & EKS. This role works closely with our developers and architects, so ideally any development experience is certainly preferred, we use Java.

Progression:

Working closely with our Principal Architect this role offers exposure into design and architecture long term, we also work with an AWS native stack so we offer the ability to be hands on in projects with the latest AWS Serverless technologies as well as new AWS services.

Experience we're looking for:

* Cloud technology, use AWS (preferred) but open to GCP/Azure.
* Any Infrastructure as code, we use Terraform
* Containers, (ECS/EKS)
* You have some experience with strongly-typed languages (Java preferred)
