    About the company:

    Jefferson Frank in partnership with our client are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their expanding team. The organisation are playing a pivotal role in transforming how enterprises access external data with a focus on external data orchestration, providing tailored solutions to global financial institutions.



    Responsibilities

    * Design, construct, and manage scalable and highly available solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and more to align with business objectives.
    * Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python, Scala, or Node.js. Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and services using best practices and design patterns.
    * Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation. Automate deployment processes for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
    * Implement and adhere to AWS security best practices and compliance standards to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance. Performance Optimization: Optimize AWS resources and applications for peak performance, including load balancing, caching, and monitoring using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.
    * Manage and optimize databases on AWS, including RDS and NoSQL solutions, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Investigate and resolve technical issues, providing support for system outages and performance challenges.
    * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, code, and operational procedures.
    * Provide guidance on AWS best practices and software engineering principles, mentoring junior team members.



    Requirements

    * Proficiency working with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Config, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and others in a multi-region deployment.
    * Background in software engineering working with technologies such as Ruby, NodeJS, Python, Golang, Scala.
    * Knowledge of AWS Security portfolio services
    * Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

    Job description

    Jefferson Frank in partnership with our client are looking for an Cloud Security Engineer to join their expanding team. The organisation are playing a pivotal role in transforming how enterprises access external data with a focus on external data orchestration, providing tailored solutions to global financial institutions.

    Responsibilities

    * You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and providing recommendations to enhance our overall security posture of their clients
    * Reporting to Managed Services Team Lead, you will join the Managed Services team and will ensure the security and integrity of both the internal organisation and client systems and data.
    * Implement and maintain secruity controls- utiliseing technology such as Datadog for monitioring system performance and metrics.

    Skills & Qualifications

    * 5+ as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
    * Understanding of encryption methods and their application in modern tools and the AWS environment.
    * Proficiency in deploying and utilising tools such as DataDog, Wiz, DRATA, and Cloud Security tools (CWPP, CIEM, SIEM, and Vulnerability scanners) focusing on Cloud Security within the AWS ecosystem.
    * CISSP, CASP, CCNA, or Security+ Certification preferred or in progress of completion.
