About the role

I am looking for a collaborative web application developer who possesses a passion for developing highly secure web and cloud applications. You will be a member of a wider team of Developers, DevOps Engineers and Cloud Architects. The successful candidate will work on designing, developing, and testing systems that empower our customers to easily manage resources across thousands of AWS accounts using the latest technologies from AWS.

Requirements

We are looking for you, if you are;

* Have existing experience of web based application development with significant knowledge of at least one of PHP, Python or JavaScript/NodeJS

Currently they are looking to bolster their team with a full stack developer this role is hands on and will focus on digital transformations to public cloud.

Of course as a developer no two days will be the same, however you will be tasked with working on E2E projects with a variety of clients from enterprise investment banks to startups. As the lead full stack developer you will primarily use cloud native technology to build cutting edge modern solutions, whilst leading a small agile team. My client is cloud centric and looking for engineers who are interested in upskilling across multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP. With that in mind, they would be interested in engineers with the following experience:

Working with joint venture aimed at accelerating the discovery of new medicines in the pharmaceutical sector. The computing infrastructure is hosted in AWS, and uses a wide range of services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS/ECR, Batch, CloudWatch, SQS, and Lambdas. Looking for a DevOps/ Software/ Infrastructure/ Cloud engineer with solid AWS experience to help maintain, operate, and develop the data analytics infrastructure.

You will be part of the technical and operations team for the pipeline infrastructure. Responsible for both the day-to-day reliability of the system, and for making changes in a sustainable way. You will propose, plan and help to deliver strategic improvements, including changes to infrastructure, development tooling, shared environments and data sharing, and electronic lab notebook integration.
