Frontend Developer (React)

We're working with an innovative technology company in Oslo that's expanding its engineering team as it continues to invest in the development of a modern, customer-facing platform. With a strong product focus and ambitious growth plans, they're looking for a Frontend Developer who enjoys building intuitive, high-performance applications using React.

You'll join a collaborative team of experienced engineers, designers, and product specialists, playing a key role in shaping both the user experience and the technical direction of the platform.

What You'll Be Doing

* Developing modern web applications using React and TypeScript
* Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a strong focus on performance and accessibility
* Collaborating closely with UX designers, backend developers, and product teams
* Contributing to architectural discussions and frontend best practices
* Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Continuously improving the frontend development process and tooling

What We're Looking For

* Commercial experience developing applications with React
* Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
* Experience working with REST APIs
* Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
* Understanding of responsive design and accessibility principles
* Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress is beneficial
* Exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

* Experience with Next.js
* Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
* Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
* Experience working within Agile development teams
