We are now seeking for a Data Engineer to join their diverse Cloud/Data Department. Responsibilities include:

* Integrate, transform, and streamline data from various sources, ensuring optimal performance and reliability based on specific business needs.
* Oversee and optimize data pipelines and storage systems to meet performance and efficiency requirements.
* Develop effective data models by translating functional requirements into technically sound designs.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

* Familiarity with leading data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, as well as associated infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
* Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and experience with DBT.
* Understanding of Data Modeling methodologies like Kimball and Data Vault 2.0.
* Knowledge of Lakehouse principles and medallion architecture.
* Relevant certifications ie: DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure, Snowpro core/advanced and Databricks Lakehouse Professional considered a plus
* Strong communication skills in English (a must) and either Dutch or French.
