As a Fullstack UX/UI Engineer you will help produce efficient & functional web-based software services to solve complex analytics problems. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to come on board and develop data-driven solutions for petabyte scale, high velocity, big data analytics in a modern and agile development environment. REQUIREMENTS:

* Senior level experience (5+ years) crafting web-based user experience solutions and applications
* Expert-level application development using modern JavaScript/HTML/CSS/SASS technologies and front-end frameworks including React, Redux, and Material UI
* Strong experience with UI/UX design processes including the ability to rapidly prototype designs using storyboards, user stories, wireframes, and other mockup approaches
* Experience with design tools, such as Figma, Sketch, Keynote, Adobe CS
* Strong RESTful API development skills
* Strong experience with web app security best practices
* Ability to work in a team in an agile setting, familiarity with JIRA, Git based development and clear understanding Agile, CI/CD and related technologies (Docker, K8S)

UX / UI Designer

I am currently working with my client on a brand new UX/UI designer role. This is an exciting role, to define, develop and own the UX & UI function in a fast-paced start-up environment.

You will be able to own and shape the design of the two existing customer-facing products and build up a strong understanding of the underlying data, customers and value provided by the current platform.

Key Skills/Experience:

● Excellent attention to detail
● A strong working knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools
● A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of UI design techniques
● Experience with HTML, CSS and jQuery would be a bonus
● Experience with mobile apps would be a bonus
● Brand design experience would be beneficial
● Project Management experience
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
● Propose and sketch out a range of visual concepts both on paper and using software
applications
● Create user personas, user journeys and site maps
● Ability to use Google Analytics to influence UI changes
● Create wireframes and prototypes using specialist tools such as the Adobe XD, Invisionapp
and Axure
● Work on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering mobile phones,
tablets and computers
● Excellent problem-solving skills
● Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite

Responsibilities:

● Help to create UI design wireframes, mock ups and final designs across all desktop, mobile
and tablet devices
● Work with the clients and development team to deliver attractive user interfaces across a
range of client websites and mobile apps
● Keep up to date with the latest UI design and usability trends and techniques
● Contribute to the agency's UI design style guide
● Work with the Digital Analytics to assess the impact of any UI changes/improvements
● Conduct UI design and usability competitor analysis and reports

We require a Back-End Developer to enhance, manage and maintain our systems and applications. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging problems such as automated network planning built in a distributed computing platform.

Professional experience of programming and customising systems will be essential to the success of this role, along with a strong work ethic and ability to own projects throughout their life cycle.

What will you be doing?

* Building our innovative in-house fibre planning tool used by our fibre planners and engineers to design and deliver our network
* Designing and documenting a new workforce management system, and enhancing existing systems to maximise business efficiencies.
* Ensuring our systems and applications are developed in line with our business requirements and outcomes.
* Regularly update senior leadership on projects, owning and escalating issues which arise through to resolution.
* Creation of efficient and accurate detailed technical documentation.
* Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to system/application design, accurately reflecting these in final as-built documentation

What qualifications/experience do we need?

* Proven, professional experience of Python and/or Javascript
* Hands on knowledge of PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
* Experience with Git, and/or GitLab
* The ability to build and interact with Restful APIs
* Working knowledge of public cloud services
* Working knowledge of Agile tooling, like JIRA or similar
