Required skills:

* 5+ years' experience of working on a Software Architect position

Desirable skills:

* Significant experience with UML and other modelling methods
* In-depth knowledge of software and application design and architecture
* Good knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
* Familiarity with software quality assurance principles
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Strong communication and presentation abilities, with close attention to detail

Key responsibilities & duties include:

* Create representations for functions and user interface of desired product, with the help of chosen tools and methodologies
* Work together with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
* Create high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
* Monitor the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with initial design
* Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
* Discuss all concepts and guidelines with development team
* Interact with developers and engineers, providing them with technical guidance and coaching
* Review final product before launch and approve it
* Ensure the compliance of software with all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.

Jefferson Frank are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to work on an exciting new greenfield project for a well established client on a temporary contract basis.



Key Responsibilities:

* Develop high-quality security conscious code.
* Participate in an agile development process and collaborate closely with the development manager and the rest of the development team.
* Write tests to ensure that the software being delivered is error-free.
* Review pull requests on GitHub
* Manage your own time and schedules to make sure deadlines are set correctly.

Requirements:

* Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, NextJS, React).
* State management tools in React and appropriate use cases, Redux vs Context vs Prop drilling.
* API Development
* Knowledge of back-end technologies (Node).
* Excellent knowledge of MVC best practices and structuring.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Test Driven Development (TDD/BDD)
* A strong understanding of interface and user experience development, and best practices for web and mobile.
* Great team player who can work well with both product, design and key stakeholders.
* Implement the 4 S's (Security, Stability, Scalability and Speed to Market)
* Knowledge of typescript
* Experience with GIT & version control
* Experience using GraphQL, with complex mutations and queries
* Headless CMS experience

Rate: Inside IR35 - £550 - £700

Jefferson Frank are supporting a consultancy in pursuit of a Senior DevOps Engineer to support on a project for a client in the aviation space. This is a long term contract and the candidate can be based anywhere in the U.K.

Required skills:

* Experience leading DevOps/SRE team
* Experience in AWS and cloud technologies
* Experience applying software dev practices to infrastructure deployment
* Experience helping development teams build and deploy microservices based applications in AWS
* Experience migrating from hosted traditional stack to a cloud-based stack.
* Experience developing docker solutions in AWS: EKS, ECS
* Exposure to Packer, Terraform, Ansible,
* Experience with native AWS services like WAF, API GW, Lambda
* Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog
* Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes
* Experience with distributed computing, cloud security, IaaS & PaaS architectures, DevOps, SRE and networking concepts
* Knowledge of J2EE, and cloud technologies development languages and tools, to continue with development
* Understanding of Identity and Access Management, user and system authentication methods and certificates, tokens and certificate management

* Experience provisioning and spinning up AWS environments in a secure and cost-effective manner
* Experience building scalable production systems through various approaches - immutable infrastructure, containers, serverless etc

* Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads
* Understand and document technical requirements from clients
* Define Migration strategy to move applications to the cloud
* Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools
* Design and work with AWS network architecture including VPC, VPN, DIrect Connect, Transit GW etc
* Design the HA / DR strategies
* Set up process, services and tools around cloud
* Oversee building of the environment and project solution designs
* Validate the environment to meet all security and compliance controls
