My client is a large software company specialising in applications to help their client's business operational tasks are simplified. They are looking to build out their cloud-based applications and services and are looking for software engineers to help them achieve this.

My client are a company that puts engineering at its heart. You will be working as part of a small, agile team based in Slough (with remote working as an option) who are able to choose the technologies that are best suited for the project at hand ensuring fast-best delivery and results.

You will play a critical role working on legacy systems (VB6, VB.NET) with an aim to migrate/sync the on-premise data to their new cloud platform.

Skills and Experience

* Good knowledge of C#
* TDD Experience and Unit Testing Frameworks (E.g. MSTEST)
* AWS experience is a bonus
* Visual Basic 6 skills is desirable
* Strong SQL Skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ultimately responsible for the quality of architecture and design of applications within the Engineering Productivity organisation.
Improve the overall development process by identifying gaps or inefficiencies in work flows and suggesting solutions.
Streamline and simplify the flow of code from the engineer's fingertips to production deployment.
Design and build advanced infrastructure enabling fast iteration.
Partner with the manager and build a road map for the developer productivity team.
