Junior Cloud Platform Engineer - Up to £45,000 + Bonus!

England, London, City of London

  • 35000 to 45000 GBP
  • DevOps Role
  • Skills: AWS, DevOps, Terraform
  • Seniority: Junior

Job description

Junior Cloud Engineer - Up to £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits / Remote/ London

This is your opportunity to work as a Junior Cloud Engineer in a cutting edge Cloud native consultancy, based in the heart of London. This role is targeted at someone who's within their first 18 months, working within the AWS Cloud.

Working in a consultancy who can offer you an unparalleled exposure to a wide range of AWS services. You'll add a whole host of large enterprise clients to your professional experience, and you'll have the opportunity to build, secure and operate some of the largest AWS platforms going, including Government based projects!

Within the role there's opportunity to build, test, package and deploy services within the cloud, automating infrastructure within AWS and packaging services into both containers and serverless deployments. With some of the projects including Government work, you need to be eligible for SC clearance.

Experience we're looking for:

-Hands on experience with AWS, you will be using a wide variety of services in this role.

-Working experience of using either Terraform or Cloud Formation for Infrastructure as Code.

-Knowledge of how to build, deploy and operate containers (Docker and/or Kubernetes)

- Implementing and working with continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines

-Linux/ Windows system administration

Though this is a junior role and there is plenty of opportunity for you to upskill, my client does require someone who has worked in a professional environment with AWS. That being said, please still apply even if you don't have every single skillset I've mentioned. My client is far more interested in someone's desire to learn and develop rather than what they can do in the immediacy!

Have an AWS certification? Great. You'll be working for an AWS certified partner so an AWS certification is always nice to have but it's not a necessity! One of the great things about this role however, is that there is a large opportunity to grow and develop through their unlimited training budget for any/all AWS certifications.

To Apply:

Please apply directly to this job advert, alternatively you can email m.tembe@jeffersonFrank.com

Please note that unfortunately my client will not be able to provide sponsorship/Visa's for this role, you MUST be eligible to work in the UK.
