Job description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development teams to ensure platforms and environments fully support product and business needs. You will also play a key role in automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives, helping translate strategic guidelines into practical, production-ready solutions.
This role includes both long-term initiatives and continuous improvement work, where you are expected to proactively identify areas for improvement and drive them forward in line with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

-Ensure stable operation and continuous development of cloud infrastructure
-Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, deployment, and operational processes
-Define, implement, and monitor automated processes for development, testing, release, and support
-Select, implement, and manage CI/CD tools based on business and technical needs
-Continuously improve deployment and operational workflows
-Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
-Take end-to-end responsibility for delivered solutions, with a strong focus on quality, stability, and manageability

Experience & Background

-Mid- to senior-level profile
-7-10 years of documented experience in relevant IT roles
-At least 4 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer

Technical Competencies

Strong understanding of IT operational processes
-AWS experience (required)
-Experience with serverless services in AWS (advantage)
-Strong experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (e.g. Docker)
-Proven hands-on experience with Terraform
-Linux-based environments (required)
-Very good scripting skills in Python and/or Shell
-Experience with monitoring and logging tools (advantage)
-Basic database knowledge (MySQL / PostgreSQL) (advantage)
-Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
-Relevant university degree in IT (advantage)
-Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar are considered a plus

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Flutter/Dart experience to join a team building large-scale mobile platform capabilities used by millions of users globally.

This is not a standard app development role. The focus is on scalable platform engineering, SDK integrations, performance, reliability, and building clean cross-platform architectures that operate at very high scale.

You'll be working across Flutter, native mobile layers, SDK integrations, and platform tooling in a modern engineering environment with a strong emphasis on quality and long-term maintainability.

Key experience:

* Strong commercial experience with Flutter/Dart
* Experience integrating native mobile functionality across iOS and/or Android
* Exposure to SDK development or SDK integrations
* Understanding of scalable mobile architectures and performance optimisation
* Experience with build/release tooling such as Gradle, Xcode, CI/CD pipelines etc.

The Opportunity:

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising modern cloud environments. You'll work closely with development teams to automate processes, improve delivery pipelines, and ensure the reliability and scalability of critical platforms.



What You'll Be Doing

* Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.
* Building and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

* Proven experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineering role.
* Strong hands-on experience with Azure.
* Commercial experience using Terraform for IaC.
* Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, including AKS and standalone Kubernetes clusters.
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong scripting and automation skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.



Desirable Experience

* Exposure to AI or machine learning environments.
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
* Knowledge of security best practices within cloud-native environments.
* Microsoft Azure certifications.
