The role

The AWS Sales Specialist is a true subject matter expert with an attitude and passion for driving Solutions & Services propositions into current account base & prospects, co-owning sales business development, and supporting go-to-market activities within your assigned region, territory, or customer segmentation.

Responsibilities

* Business planning: Plan and execute portfolio level strategies for both Run and Grow business

* Have driven Enterprise level end-to-end Cloud Transformation - Planning to Operations (preferably on AWS) - as a Sales or Program Manager
* Demonstrate willingness to learn on the job
* Be Diligent and persistent yet be agile enough to understand hard structures and navigate accordingly

About The Position
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be partnering with Account Executives by delivering high quality technical demonstrations of the product suite, walk through potential use cases, and answer technical questions whilst focusing on the value proposition.
As the pre-sale engineer you will be the trusted advisor to our highly technical end users by using your technical knowledge and act as a subject matter expert on technical questions regarding the platform best practices and features.

What You'll Do:
● Drive pre-sales technical discovery and solutioning discussions with data engineers, database administrators, systems architects, and other technical professionals at all levels of customer organizations.
● Plan, manage, and effectively close out technical demonstrations and proof of value projects, often serving as both the subject matter expert and project manager.
● Respond to technical enquiries including Requests for Proposals, and similar formal documents.

Basic Qualifications:
