Job description

Linux Engineer - Up to £80,000 - Hybrid, 1-2 times a week in Central London (Liverpool Street Station)

Looking for a Linux Engineer to join a world leader in the domain registry industry. You will be working within a team as a pivotal role, building a new platform which is of great importance to the core of internet infrastructure.

You will be shaping the platform working alongside varying teams, as well as your own, providing your expertise to ensure seamless integration. You will be utilising RedHat Satellite & Ansible extensively as well as provide essential hardware life cycle and data centre hardware support, ensuring reliability.

Need experience in:

* Expert RedHat Linux experience, in particular Satellite, for at least 5 years, both with virtual and physical servers with further experience building bare metal from scratch, racking and stacking, ect.
* Great knowledge in Virtualization (Linux, KVM).
* Strong IaC experience with Ansible.

This is a Hybrid based role with 20% (1-2 times a week) in office in central London (Liverpool Street Station).

Salary is dependent on experience but looking to pay up to £80,000 for the right individual.

Senior DevOps Engineer - Up to £80,000

Hybrid in Kensington, London twice weekly



Recruiting for a Leading, Multinational Media & Events Group who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.

You will support the rapidly growing platform, specialising in AWS infrastructure with an automation first mindset utilising CloudFormation/CDK. This role will be heavily project based, with yourself responsible for leading the line, collaborating with individuals being both technical and stakeholder, ensuring DevOps practices are followed to the highest standards, ensuring security, scalability and high availability.

Must Haves:

* 3+ years experience specifically with AWS and a range of services.
* 3+ years experience with DevOps best practices
* Extensive IaC using either CDK or Cloudformation

Nice to have:

* Containerisation experience with either Kubernetes or Docker
* Experience or knowledge of the well-architecture framework and cloud design principles
* Preferred (but not essential) programming language of Python

Salary is dependent on experience but looking to pay up to £80,000
Twice a week in Kensington, London office.

We are building a new Test department to work alongside our developers at our office in Drammen, and are looking for a leader to take ownership and grow the environment further!

Alongside strategic responsibilities and growing a future team around you, we are looking for you who can work with:

* Leading the planning, execution, and management of testing activities for client projects, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
* Working closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to define test requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
* Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage and adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
* Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Managing test environments, tools, and resources to facilitate efficient and effective testing activities, including the selection and implementation of appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
* Analysing test results and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimisation, and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
* Collaborating with clients to understand their testing needs and requirements, and proactively proposing innovative solutions and best practices to address their challenges and achieve their goals.

We are looking for you to bring:

* Bachelor's degree in an IT or engineering related subject
* Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including test automation, performance testing, and agile testing methodologies.
* Experience with test management tools
* Previous experience in a role where you have taken on leadership or management responsibilities (either for projects or people)
* Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with users and internal teams
* We require candidates to be comfortable communicating in both Norwegian & English
