A very exciting opportunity has come for one of my key clients - we are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Services Manager/Head of Platforms who has good hands-on experience managing teams. You will be managing super-techie professionals on a 3-tier support stack.

Role Purpose

* Responsibility to shape and develop the support for the Infrastructure Services Team and the infrastructure
* Manage the team members and the systems they support
* Ownership and operational responsibility for the formulation and delivery of technology support to enable the business to achieve its stated objectives and to lead the Infrastructure Services Team to achieve world-class benchmarks of customer service and support.

Skills & Qualifications

* Significant technical 'hands-on' management experience in a similar environment
* Proven record of successfully managing teams, including goal setting and performance management
* Experience of Data Centre technology infrastructure development and management
* Experience of cloud-hosted environments - AWS/Azure
* Experience in 'On-Premise to Cloud' migrations
* Experience in automated infrastructure services management
* Experience working in a DevOps environment
* Working knowledge of Carrier Grade Networking - On Prem and Cloud
* Working knowledge of Server and Storage Devices
* Working knowledge of MySQL and SQL Server

We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our friendly, technically strong AWS Premier Consulting Partner.

You'll be working on mostly green field projects with our diverse client base spanning from start-ups to multi-national companies. You'll be contributing to providing software that solves real-world problems in saving energy, resources, or the plant.

We are passionate about AWS, IoT, ML, Big Data, innovation, Sustainability, Learning and development and DE&I.


* You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes, and prioritising workloads.
* Investigate support cases Ensure customer infrastructure is maintained, secured and updated.
* Isolating resources required to fix problems that arise.
* Completing AWS Well-Architected Reviews for new and existing client


* Experience with the core AWS services and cloud technology.
* Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, OpsGenie or similar.
* Experience in maintaining cloud-native applications in an AWS environment.

My client is a global consultancy who are currently looking for a DevOps Engineers. Because their clients' projects are gigantic in size, they are looking to hire as soon as possible in order to scale.

You would be working in the public sector and be involved with high-end technology.

You'd need to be proficient with AWS and Linux. Kubernetes experience is a plus, but not a must necessary.

HPC (High Performance Compute) Engineer

London or Dublin (3 days in office per week)

Packages between £170,000 - £270,000 dependent on experience.

Jefferson Frank have been enlisted to support a well esteemed hedge fund who building a state of the art high performance compute (HPC) capability to support their internal teams. This in turn will enable their teams including Portfolio Management, Data Scientists and Developers scale their computing capabilities on premise and in the cloud platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

* You will be operating in a customer focused HPC team working with the business and aligned to teams to design, develop, test and deploy High Performance Compute Infrastructure.
* You will be comfortable building relationships with multiple internal stakeholders and delivering platform solutions to their needs (Including Quantitative, Engineers, Data Science etc)
* Help the business drive adoption and subsequent HPC platform offering

Experience Required:

* Experience working on multi tenant compute environments/grid systems (consulting with business units to develop HPC Solutions etc)
* Strong Python (or more) programming experience
* Strong Systems experience (Linux)
* Configuration Management and CI/CD
* Strong knowledge of Public Cloud Platforms, deep expertise in either AWS or GCP (ideally both)
* Expertise in building multi tenant HPC environments and familiarity leveraging relevant frameworks like SLURM
* Terraform
* Strong understanding of network and security


* Salary between £100,000 to £200,000 dependent on your level of experience.
