    Your day-to-day

    * Work in cohesion with the data analysts, data scientists and other data stakeholders in order to establish the best way to use the data that is collected.
    * Work closely with C-Suite members to understand the long term strategic goals of the business, and use this to develop the best solutions.
    * Recommend new tooling that is scalable and efficient.
    * Explore new avenues for measuring and improving data quality.

    The Essential Skills

    * Over 3 years' experience in a similar position.
    * Experience of SQL and Python.
    * Experience working with cloud based data infrastructure; Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks etc.
    * ETL tooling experienced - Apache Airflow would be a bonus.
    * Familiar with extracting data through API calls.

    Cloud Architect - Up to £110k + Bonus

    FULLY REMOTE UK WIDE

    Due to continued success and growth, my client are expanding our development team and are now looking for a Cloud Architect. You will be working with architects, technologists, and development teams with the responsibility to ensure that our products and solutions integrate with clients. Additionally, the Cloud Architect will take a lead role working closely with Operations Engineering team to provide a world-class DevOps Environment capable of handling the anticipated development load.

    Responsibilities

    * Architect and provide technical direction for our approach for cloud/SaaS and on-premise products
    * Lead on the setting and enforcement of architecture standards and practices affecting development of all new products as well as impacting existing ones. Develop these standards in coordination with peers in other divisions.
    * Review and evaluate new and existing architecture and code to ensure it meets standards; or for existing products that they will operate within the overall cloud architecture.
    * Evangelize the cloud and microservice message and architecture within the development organization and to our field organizations, partners, and customers.
    * Research new technologies, including hands-on technical evaluation and POCs.
    * Create and maintain documentation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    * Multiple years' experience designing and running production workloads in AWS.
    * Hands-on experience with core AWS services, including running containers on ECS and functions on Lambda.
    * Ability to design and build CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline/Build/Deploy or Jenkins.
    * Experience running Linux and/or Windows environments.
    * Ability to design highly available and performant solutions in the AWS.
    * Working knowledge of database technologies.
    * Strong skills with scripting technologies, such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible.
    * Experience writing IasC with CloudFormation/Terraform.
    * Working knowledge of version control systems.
    * Experience with the AWS Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption frameworks.
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical team members/clients.
    * Ability to identify priorities and plan effectively.
    * AWS knowledge and certifications: Solutions Architect, DevOps, Security, Network.

    The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Yorkshire based business unit focusing on servicing clients in consulting, designing and delivering high quality cloud solutions in AWS. With a client already lined up, it is as simple as jumping straight onto the project once you have joined my client's team.

    Below, I have detailed important features of what is required to succeed within the role, what my client will be expecting you to be capable of carrying out on a frequent basis, and finally what they can offer you as an employer.

    What you will need to succeed:

    * Previous experience as a hands on architect with in-depth knowledge of designing applications in any of the following languages; C#, .Net, or SQL.
    * Working knowledge of a wide range of architecture styles including; Monolithic to Microservices and Serverless.
    * Experience of designing for security aspects of cloud based services.
    * Expertise in designing solutions in AWS.
    * Comfortable with a DevOps style of working.
    * Good understanding and experience in Agile working methodology.

    Based in Leeds, they are looking for a Product Owner to own the development of a company product from conception through delivery and ongoing future development.

    You'll be responsible for Product Strategy and Product Delivery, with the following skills:

    - Broad understanding and practical experience of agile software development and the role of the Product Owner

    - Creating User Stories and writing acceptance criteria

    - Milestone / release planning

    - Backlog management and prioritisation

    - Facilitating backlog refinement and planning sessions with teams

    - Knowledge and experience of requirements gathering, analysis and modelling gained through either business analysis, user research or user experience approaches

    - Ability to take ownership and accountability and hold other to account

    - Ability to identify risks and issues and to propose and implement mitigating actions
