    Role Overview:

    As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and optimising data pipelines, ensuring the seamless flow of data across various systems. Your expertise in AWS services, Python, and SQL will be crucial in managing and transforming large datasets to support our business needs.

    Regarding project specifics in the works are plans to migrate and build out a data platform, making experience with migrations, as well as Snowflake or Databricks highly preferable. As you will be required to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, your ability to communicate effectively and work in a team-oriented environment will be key to your success in this role.



    Requirements:

    * 2.5+ Years Experience in Data Engineering

    This Data arm will aim to supply cloud agnostic services, aiming to provide the most optimal solutions to any situation. Their clients will primarily be in retail and manufacturing sectors, and due to the existence of a very successful sister arm very warm client introductions will be made.

    My client is looking for either a permanent employee, or a contractor with prospective for a perm switch, they are very flexible on salary - finding the right person for this job is what matters.

    The role:

    As a Lead Software Engineer, we are looking for an experienced developer who understands Python to work on our customers environments and help build their brands by leveraging AI & Data. You can expect a variety of Python based work with our customers as well as guaranteed cloud exposure in all projects. - All of our customers utilise the cloud (GCP) but we will take anyone with AWS/Azure experience. We would also consider people who are strong developers who have transitioned to Python, just be aware this is the chosen language with the team.



    Progression:

    We are expanding, with the role reporting into the Heads of AI, Engineering & Automation there is clear progression to a Head of Development role/ or the hands on route working as a Principal engineer. - We offer both routes as we want the person to make the role their own.



    Experience we are looking for:

    * Python development is strongly preferred.

    * Frameworks: Flask/Django

    * Cloud technologies, we use GCP but open to AWS/Azure.

    * Any experience with IaC is a nice to have.
