    Role Overview:

    As a Data Scientist you will be hands on in developing advanced statistical and machine learning models within the financial sector. Python is obviously a pre-requisite for this role, with experience required in processing and model development. You will develop end-to-end models and use a combination of NLP and OCR-based extraction techniques.

    In addition to the technical expertise you will bring and develop, this is a consultant role and you will be working with key stakeholders in large financial institutions, good communication is essential.

    * Manage the API life-cycle including testing, deployment, version control, logging, and monitoring.
    * Use Python (e.g. FastAPI) and Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Microsoft Fabric pipelines) for development and orchestration.
    * Document integration specifications and processes clearly for future maintenance and support.

    Collaboration & Client Integration Support

    * Liaise with third-party vendors and client IT teams to align technical details.
    * Work closely with consultants to align API designs with functional requirements.

    Overview

    We are looking for a Data Manager who has experience of core Data Governance related work. The Data Manager has the primary responsibility in supporting the Group Head of Data Management. This includes the overall client engagement and quality assurance of the work of the team completing the work. The Data Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the clients stakeholders, oversight of all deliverables, ensure alignment with the clients Data Strategy and clients Group Data Policy, and steer the execution of the work plan. This role also provides strategic guidance on data governance practices and ensures the integration of technical efforts with business priorities.

    The scope of the work includes:

    * Transition of an existing instance of Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalogue (CDGC), to an enterprise deployment, including the configuration and implementation across the Business Units.
    * Oversight of the discovery of Data Documentation, related metadata, Data Quality and Reference data.
    * Supporting any other prioritised work or project support from the Group Data team.
    * Potentially supplementing Business Unit data teams in the execution of Data Management activities.

    The Data Manager will have excellent communication skills and can adapt to an ever-changing landscape. This will involve working with the Data Leaders in the Business Units to get a better understanding of both the Data Users community, as well as the teams and key subject matter experts utilising data for critical outcomes. The role has significant exposure to the existing Data teams and Data Leaders in the Business Units.
