Cloud Engineer - FULLY REMOTE

Up to £70k DOE

My client offer cloud hosting solutions and are a trusted web hosting company based in South Africa. Due to the continuous growth and development of the company they are branching further a field into the UK. This isn't the only thing that's expanding as they are looking for a senior engineer who is essentially going to be the figurehead of an exciting new network of engineers. The opportunity is amazing and they even offer a career path which ultimately will ensure you are a subject matter expert in your field.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in Linux. You will be influential in the development of the Linux server solutions. In addition to this they will need to have had experience developing back end or API software.

Team cohesion is a key belief embedded within this company and furthermore you should be able to adapt and become a strong member who can contribute well to the hosting infrastructure team.

DevOps Engineer - Fully Remote

You will be working for a company within the Health Industry. You will be working as a DevOps Engineer remotely from anywhere in the UK. You will receive up to £70,000 for this position.



Tasks:

* Building out infrastructure as code using terraform
* Performing internal audits of our infrastructure, from security, cost, performance, and reliability perspectives
* Performing analysis and running data-driven experiments on our databases in order to improve reliability and performance, and to reduce cost
* Using tools to continue improve our ability to detect and respond to incidents



General Requirements:

* Broad AWS experience
* MongoDB experience
* MySQL & PostgresQL experience
* Experience with data migration projects, write-intensive database workloads (chat, streaming data ingestion, etc)
