Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Oslo, with the potential of a Lead role for the right candidate!

You will be joining an innovative SaaS company focused on helping customers in the renewable energy industry to become more efficient and sustainable through technology

Your role will involve assisting with the installation & deployment of software products using cloud technologies

We are looking for you to bring a broad experience within DevOps, having worked with at least one public cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)

As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will work closely alongside developers, designers, and product owners, gaining a deep insight into the product and software lifecycle

Your Role & Responsibilities can include:

* Working closely with technical architects, identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
* Defining and setting development, test, release, update and support processes for DevOps operations
* As a senior/lead within the team, you will provide support and mentorship to your colleagues, and ensure each member is able to perform to the best of their ability
* You should encourage, and build automated processes wherever possible, and whilst aiming for continuous improvement, you will work alongside technical architects to build, select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools

You will be joining the platform team working hands on with the latest cloud services, and help to expand the digital transformation across the whole organisation

As part of a cross-functional team, you will work closely with application development and data engineering teams on tasks, project planning and implementation

* Designing and implementation of AWS / Azure cloud solutions

* Knowledge in PaaS and SaaS application performance and implications on data security.
* Knowledge in automation and scripting languages
* Knowledge of tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform would be beneficial

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer/Architect in Oslo!

Based in-house within an established media company, you will take an active role in building and maintaining IT
systems running across different cloud provider platforms.

Some of your responsibilities can include:

* Help develop and maintain infrastructure as code cloud deployments
* Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
* Participate in architecture and software development activities
* Establish, configure, test and maintain deployment and configuration management tools

As part of an Agile team, you will strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
