My client are one of the biggest names in technology and modern cloud consulting, they boast a world class data and analytics centre and are looking to add to their team. They provide a wide range of cutting edge data and analytics solutions to the Public Sector to revolutionise the UK Government's data platform and maximise insight, accesibility, revenues, reduce fraud etc - they key lifeblood of the Public Sector.

You will work in an Agile team collaborting closely with Architects, Product Managers and Solution Architects.

Experience Required:

* Strong ETL skills in either Talend, Pentaho, SAS DI, Informatica or equivalent
* Database background of one of the following Oracle, RDS, Redshift, Hadoop, MySQL, Postgres etc
* Various Data Architecture techniques including Data Modelling, Data Warehousing etc
* Job Scheduling
* Programming skills in any of PL/SQL, SQL, Unix, Java, Python, Hive, HiveQL, HDFS, Impala
* Must be eligible for Security Clearance

The Role

* You will be working in an agile delivery team within an agile scrum framework.
* Work across various software engineering principles including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, development, testing, implementation and support.
* Contribute to various teams providing ideas and innovation/process recommendations, help mentor other team members, strong information sharing culture.
* Client and stakeholder engagement

The best candidate for the role will be proficient working in AWS and Linux. Kubernetes experience is a plus, but not a must have.

* You will be working amongst a team of 5-6 engineers fine tuning the infrastructure and leading with a solution focused mind set.
* You will be integral to enforcing a collaborative focus to the team as you bring forward your industry knowledge to the dynamism of our engineers.
* Successful candidates will demonstrate strong experience in building, managing and maintaining multiple, highly scalable and available environments using continuous integration and deployment.



The role is mostly remote - occasionally you'll be required to visit our Head Office in Piccadilly.



About you:

About you:

* Developing DevSecOps solutions into the heart of what we do in alignment to Agile methodology and AWS infrastructure.
* Perform Threat Modelling.
* Coach the Software Development teams in how they can enforce a security conscious mindset at the building blocks of production.
* Architect and build DevSecOps pipelines (Docker, Jenkins).
* Run security tools for SAST and DAST in DevOps



Preferable:

* 5+ years experience in AWS environments.
