This is an opportunity for a talented backend-focused engineer to join their payments department, a high-performing agile release train, building applications, services and infrastructure which facilitates and supports billions of financial transactions annually across the Nordics and Northern Europe!

This is a permanent role, hybrid based out of their Stockholm HQ. Currently, this position would not offer support with visa sponsorship.
Role & Responsibilities
* Analyse, design, develop, test and maintain backend services and integrations within the super-hot payments area
* Be in the forefront of implementing services on our new cloud native platform that have built in CI/CD principles and modern application infrastructure
* Be part of a cross functional agile team that use SAFe and that together plan the work, break down the backlog and prioritize the features
* Assume full operational responsibility for the services owned by the team. Participate in maintenance, change & incident handling. Be ready to take on on-call duty going forward
Skills & Qualifications
* 4+ Years of Java experience, with high professional competence within Spring boot
* Experience within our stack; Java, Spring, Spring boot, Microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes etc
* Experience within the financial sector, or an interest in being part of it would be beneficial!
