    SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

    Within the Communications & Infrastructure group, the programme delivery team is responsible for delivering programmes/projects across multiple countries and variety of technologies from Mobile, Broadband, Voice, CDN, Internet peering, Data Centres (Private and Public cloud), with a mix of physical and virtual network components and automation.
    We are looking for a promising and seasoned Senior Project Manager who has worked on complex digital projects, with a focus on Telco Cloud.

    - NFVi infrastructure, cloud computing and storage

    -IP networking for DC switching and routing

    -Software defined networking

    -VIM -IaaS layer knowledge (e.g Vmware, Redhat or and openstack )

    -CaaS /Container / kubernetes (k8s) knowledge or openshift from Redhat

    -Cloud native concept

    -Telco core application VNF / CNF onboarding (any virtual network function or cloud native application)

    -Telco application verification/ certification and instantination concept

    -Cloud manager

    -Automation and orchestration

    -Cloud security concept



    Public cloud competence is also complementary like AWS,(Outpost, wavelength), Microsoft Azure, Google Anthos etc..

    It is difficult to have all these competences with one person but at least bold ones are key to have

    The successful candidate will have a technical project management background, be detail driven, and have experience in managing virtual teams to deliver complex projects. You will be a passionate and proven leader with the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in, communicate confidently at both the executive and project team level, and collaborate with a wide range of technical and non-technical teams, regardless of geographical or organisational boundaries. You will be a natural problem solver with a cool head, that can deal with ambiguity and work autonomously to deliver results.

    What you'll do:

    * Take end-to-end ownership of a Telco cloud project, part of the virtualisation of the mobile network, including 5G.
    * Manage telco cloud suppliers through design, integration, and testing project phase.
    * Utilise your communication skills to interface with and influence a broad range of multi-disciplinary teams (solutions architecture, test & delivery, support, product, partners, customer team).
    * Ensure necessary governance and controls are in place to ensure successful delivery, demonstrate adherence to agreed time, cost, and quality deliverables.
    * Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, forecast resources demand and prioritisation.
    * Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels from stakeholders to project team members.
    * Lead the project team by example. Motivate the team and create a collaborate 'can do' environment

    AWS DevOps Engineer - Remote - 3 months - Outside IR35

    Jefferson Frank are currently recruiting for an AWS DevOps Engineer to work with one of our clients who are a consultancy who specialise in the cloud. We are looking for DevOps Engineers with hands-on experience engineering of AWS, CICD methods and platform automation. A good engineering and application development background is also needed.

    For this role we would like to find out about your recent projects, demonstrating your skill and proven application of the below technologies.



    Requirements:

    * Extensive experience setting up and configuring AWS services, including EC2, ECS, Route53 and CloudFront.
    * Ability to create and configure CI/CD pipelines using CodeBuild, CodePipeline, Gitlab CI or Jenkins.
    * Configuration management with Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation.
    * Scripting in Bash or Python.
    * Experience in the provisioning of monitoring dashboards using tools such as Datadog, Splunk or Grafana.



    Desirable skills and experience:

    * Experience with using container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
    * Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure and Google Cloud.

    **Major Duties & Responsibilities
    They need someone that's got experience on the project management side. Someone that's got experience using Smartsheets or other cloud based or collaborative software.

    * Partner with technical teams (R and D) and product development teams to establish clear, objective, and quantitative success criteria by which trial and overall development execution is measured and tracked.
    * Quarterback test planning and execution; facilitate execution readiness to ensure technical teams can successfully accomplish objectives on time.

    * Execute implementation and improvement projects for program management tools and processes.
    * Have familiarity with AWS Cloud and tools.

    **Required Knowledge And Skills**
    * Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field (or related experience), PMP certification preferred
    * 8+ years of related work experience
    * Relevant experience in program, project, or product management
    * Experience in or knowledge of NPI/NTI processes including TRL concepts
    * Background in manufacturing/industrial engineering is required
    * The ability to effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment
    * Team player with experience working in a fast-paced, high intensity environment
    * Open minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve
    * A data-driven mindset with a strong attention to detail
    * Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and focus
    * Experience with Smartsheets or other project management tools
