Overview

A leading global consulting organisation is seeking a Senior Manager - Data Architect to join its Technology & Transformation practice, specialising in Investment Management and Wealth. This is a senior client-facing role for an experienced data leader who is passionate about modern data architecture, investment data, and driving large-scale transformation.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, lead high-performing teams, and help shape data strategies that improve operating models, enable better decision-making, and deliver measurable business outcomes.



Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and delivery of enterprise data strategies and data architecture for complex investment and wealth clients
* Manage multi-disciplinary teams delivering assessments, target-state architectures, and transformation roadmaps
* Identify inefficiencies in existing data architectures and define pragmatic, scalable improvements
* Shape and deliver operating model and data transformation initiatives, from strategy through to implementation
* Lead client workshops to define requirements, design data models, and agree architectural principles
* Engage confidently with C-level and senior stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into clear business value
* Stay close to emerging data technologies and industry trends, applying them to real client challenges



Required Experience:

* Strong background in data architecture and data solution design within consulting or large enterprise environments
* Deep understanding of data management concepts including:

* Data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical)
* Data quality, master & reference data
* Analytics, reporting, and self-service BI

* Experience defining data standards, taxonomies, vocabularies, and a "common language for data"
* Proven leadership experience managing delivery teams and developing junior talent
* Strong industry experience within Investment Management and/or Wealth, e.g.:

* Asset & wealth management products
* Trading, portfolio management, risk, pricing, ESG, market data
