AWS Cloud Engineer - Fully Remote - Outside IR35 - 6 Months

Jefferson Frank is working with an impressive innovative consultancy that is recruiting for an AWS Cloud Engineer to work remote for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to make an impact implementing, supporting and optimising cloud native solutions. Providing excellent customer service while building and maintaining environments for high profile clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Liaising with clients and managing continuous improvement of critical production systems in automated and scalable way.
* Developing core products and producing high quality components that are used across multiple projects
* Be a crucial member to our DevOps culture. This includes the deployment of solutions by continuous delivery and promotion of automation principles.

Requirements

* Great knowledge of CloudFormation/Terraform
* Experience working with Amazon Web Services
* High level of understanding of databases and networking
* Experience with version control systems (GIT)

Desirable

* AWS certified
* Experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API GW, SNS, SQS, and Dynamo DB experience)
* Well Architected framework and deep understanding of AWS
* Experience is continual learning and ability to learn new domains
* Windows Server and related technologies administration experience - AD, DFS, SQL Server
* Exposure to Data Engineering with knowledge of AWS data lake service (Glue, Glue Catalog, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis)
* Impulse to interact closely with customers and build a rapport

What's Required?

* A minimum of 2 years hands on experience within production environments.
* Experience working in highly transactional and data centric environments
* Knowledge of AWS services beyond the basics that will include; ECS, Kinesis, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB.
* Experience of Infrastructure as Code and Deployment Tools such as; CloudFormation, CircleCI, Octopus Deploy and AWS CodeDeploy.
* In depth knowledge and experience of any Linux platform.
