Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily management of AWS infrastructure solutions, monitoring and optimizing system performance and resources. They will lead the design and implementation of Windows and Linux server infrastructures, troubleshoot issues, and provide AWS expertise to other teams. Additionally, they will ensure system security, conduct backups and recovery, document processes, and provide leadership to team members.

Desired Qualifications:

* Experience in administration of Windows/Linux Servers and Network Systems
* Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python
* Knowledge of Apache Web Server and DNS protocols
* Experience in managing and optimizing cloud resources, monitoring, automation, and security
* Extensive knowledge and experience with AWS tools such as EC2, S3, IAM Policies, Lambda, Containers (ECS, EKS), RDS, Security Groups, VPC, CloudWatch, Control Tower, Cloud Formation, RDS, and API Gateway
* Proficiency in AWS Network services such as ENA, IGW, DXGW, TGW, and DNS

Responsibilities:

* Oversee the day-to-day management and monitoring of AWS infrastructure solutions
* Collaborate with teams to provide AWS expertise
* Lead the design and troubleshooting of server infrastructures
* Handle software installations and upgrades
* Conduct backups and security maintenance
* Participate in on-call support (including weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

* Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Office, Teams, and Exchange
* Manage Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy, and DFS
* Implement and manage Microsoft Intune (UEM) for endpoint management and application deployment
* Configure Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management
* Manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, and AWS Backup
* Assist with small office networking, including Meraki, VPN, switches, and firewalls
* Maintain and expand comprehensive documentation for all IT processes and procedures, ensuring that the team has access to accurate and up-to-date information.
* Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, including creating detailed documentation and runbooks.
