    We are looking to add an advisor with expertise in Business Intelligence to the team in Oslo!

    You will be part of a dedicated team solving some of the most complex challenges facing customers today

    You will be tasked with bridging the gap between business and technology - encompassing the areas where strategy meets business development, processes, and technology

    The team impact a range of public and private sector companies - from start-ups and scale-ups, to larger organisations

    Your day-to-day can include:

    * Speaking with customers to understand their requirements, define their needs, and identify opportunities for digitalisation
    * Advise customers on various solutions for optimisation

    Role - Data Analyst / Business Analyst

    Rate- £500-£550 (Outside IR35)

    Contract Length - 3-month initial contract but it will be extended until the end of the year.

    Location - Remote

    Start Date- ASAP

    I am currently helping a good client of mine, trying to find a strong Data / Business Analyst, to come on board and join what will be a lengthy contract, working for a large government organisation as the end client.

    The project is in the Early stages at the moment, with the data being everywhere and they need someone to move it into Dashboards, and actually find where the data is and present it to stakeholders, working out how to save the business money and how to move the project forward. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is a good consultant as well as an analyst, I need somebody who thrives on helping a project and driving value through a project.

    As I mentioned, the project is at the early stages, in fact, they are still at the Data Discovery stage, which means this part of the project is crucial because it will have a knock-on effect on what the Data Engineers / Data Scientists want to do when they come in.



    Job Description:

    I have an Urgent opening for a Data Business Analyst for a well-known, Public Sector client. These roles are urgent interviews to take place ASAP. The role has been deemed Outside IR35. The right candidate/s must have SC clearance or be eligible (5 years in the UK).



    Role/skills:

    * Interfacing between business and the source systems to translate business requirements into data sources and queries that can support generating KPI metrics for dashboards

    * Lead on workshops and meetings with key stakeholders and system owners (this is important, we need to be able to trust you to run meetings with the client without oversight)
    * Understand, identify and document the data sources, schema, etc.

    Based in-house, you will work between the business and their customers to help advise what actions they can take based on the data and insights available

    You will be able to work with a range of international customers, as well as small-medium sized businesses based around Norway in both the private and public sector. Each customer recognises the value their their data can bring, and trusts that you will deliver meaningful insights to impact their future

    You will have the opportunity to discuss ideas with customers & colleagues, pitch suggestions and strategies, and help with tailored data solutions to allow for more informed decision-making

    As part of a dedicated team of 20 data professionals, you will also play a key role in the business analytics division, supporting the wider organisation and helping uncover new areas to explore within data

    We are looking for you to have some of the following skills and experiences:

    * Academic background in IT, Economics, Business, or similar
    * Professional experience with analytics or advisory services
    * Experience with data collection/preparation and ETL processes
    * Experience with data visualisation
    * Experience with predictive analytics is beneficial

    They require the following skills:

    ● Previous QA experience with web applications (minimum 3 years experience)

    ● Strong experience of performing manual and automated tests.
    ● Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

    About the Role
