Key Responsibilities:

* Support the deployment and configuration of Databricks with Unity Catalog.

* Ensure robust Azure security and cost management practices.

We are looking for you to bring:

* Academic background in an engineering or computer science related subject
* 3+ years experience in a data engineering position
* Experience using data platforms to build data products
* Competency with SQL & Python
* Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
* Experience will tools such as Snowflake, DBT, Databricks, Airflow, Spark is beneficial

Contract GCP Trainer - Cloud Architecture/Data Engineering - £500-700/pd

About the Role

A digitally driven reinsurance broker is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to play a key role in strengthening its cloud security posture across multi-cloud environments. This is a hands-on contract role focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on leveraging the latest Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to embed security best practices across platforms including GCP, Azure, and M365.
