    Skills and experience we're looking for:

    * Demonstrable experience as a Java Developer, knowledge of core Java.
    * Experience with Spring Boot, Play Framework or JHipster.
    * Knowledge on Spring Core
    * Experience of handling relational and NoSQL databases in a Java-based ecosystem using technologies like JDBC, Spring Data, Hibernate and JPA
    * An understanding of developing applications with SOAP or RESTful Web Services
    * Good Knowledge of cloud platforms and using continuous integration
    * An appreciation of developing software using TDD
    * Experience working with multiple programming paradigms such as functional and object orientation

    Lead Java Developer - Up to £100k DOE

    As a Lead Java Developer you will:

    * Develop solid, well performing and maintainable back-end code using primarily Java
    * Utilising services such as Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Oracle DB, AWS S3, AWS SQS, AWS Lambda
    * Rapidly solve problems and bugs
    * Work with developers, designers and product managers to make the test taker experience as good as possible

    Skills ideally suited:

    * strong experience in Java or similar technologies

    * experience working with REST APIs
    * production experience with continuous integration
    * familiarity with performance and security best practices
    * experience with Agile development methodology & Test Driven development is a plus
    * experience with Infrastructure-as-Code

    Technical Lead - Up to £90,000 - Hybrid - SC Cleared/Eligible

    Technical Lead - Up to £90,000 - Hybrid - SC Cleared/Eligible

    You will be joining a leading digital transformation agency undergoing work/projects within varying sectors, including Financial, Commercial, Non-Profit & the Public Sector, hence the requirement for security clearance.

    The role in question is a Technical Lead where you're responsibilities will be split between the DevOps and Development teams, playing an integral role in orchestrating high availability infrastructure, automating the deployment processes and ensuring the highest level of application performance for a range of clients, communicating with stakeholders and customers/clients, all whilst collaborating extensively with the Development teams being a point of contact for technical leadership.

    This role will provide great autonomy and responsibility over the platform and migration of legacy applications to AWS.

    Experience Required:

    * Extensive experience with deploying PHP frameworks, Drupal being preferred.
    * Extensive experience providing Technical leadership, collaborating across multiple teams, i.e Platform & Development teams.
    * 3+ years experience with AWS and a range of services.
    * 3+ years experience with DevOps best practices,
    * Extensive IaC using Terraform and further Containers experience

    Salary is dependent on experience but looking to pay up to £90,000, commuting twice a week in central London office (close to Liverpool street station).

    This role will require yourself to be SC cleared or clearable
