    We are working with a mid sized financial services group that focus in banking, insurance and real estate solutions for mainly the agriculture industry.

    The companies mission is to contribute to helping customers and businesses with financial well-being by offering tailored solutions to their needs.

    The group is particularly focused in helping key industries continue with their goals in sustainability, environmental targets, growth plans and personal health.

    With these industries being such a influential aspect in Norway, they company continue to expand their offerings to the market.

    This can only be progressed by advancing their Data & Analytics solutions within the business. The company is migrating their data platforms from onprem to Azure, and implementing new analytics technologies to provide up to date insights so the business can adapt accordingly.

    As a data engineer, you get to help build a new and modern data warehouse on their new data platform and you'll loading and organizing data from various sources where the goal is internal seconding, reporting and analysis and automating everything for its self service Power BI service.

    Experience / Requirements

    - Computer Science or Economics Degree
    - 5 years minimum BI / Data Analytics Platform exposure
    - Experience on Azure and Snowflake platform
    - You have strong experience using Python and / or SQL
    - Experience in Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure SQL
    - Strong background with ETL

    Data Engineer Consultant

    FRG is partnered up with a well-known tech driven consultancy in Norway! There teams work endlessly with their customers on value adding projects across all aspects of Norwegian society and social responsibility! As a company they truly understand how technology changes lives and have built up a great reputation across Europe!

    Analytics is a national department located in five locations, Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger and Kristiansand. In total Analytics has 70 analytics consultants working with data engineering, platform engineering, data analytics and data science. Analytics have an extensive knowledge of the data/analytics domain and want to increase our position in Stavanager.

    With a wide variety of projects across the country, from large scale enterprises to exciting start ups, we are looking for a couple of figureheads to join the group as Tech Leads / Associate manager to help lead the Analytics practice! The role will be a mixture of hands on and having a small amount of personnel responsibility.

    You will work with the design of data architectures, build data models and data pipelines, integrate data from different sources, including streaming data, and make data available for different types of applications. We prefer projects with new technology, which means one of the leading cloud platforms and working on tech such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric and much more!

    Experience / Requirements

    - Computer Science or Economics Degree
    - Solid Analytics or Engineering background
    - Broad experience with Data mining, preparation, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics all to provide insights and useful information in order to make data driven suggestions.
    - Experience working on data platforms across modern tech such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks
    - Proven experience with ETL processes and comfortable accessing data and extracting data yourself, and prepping it for analytics purposes
    - A good eye for spotting trends, understanding businesses and being able to advice clients why certain things are happening.
    - Support clients data platform, building reporting functions in conjunction with data lake and warehouse infrastructure.
    - Experience with DevOps processes and CI/CD

    A competitive salary will be offered with bonus incentives offered
