    The Role:

    This client is hiring for a Technical Lead to take ownership of one of their client facing applications following a team restructuring due to the growth of the development department.This is a hands on, technical role where your primary responsibility will be the management of your application from an architectural point of view, running sprints and converting the business requirements past from the product manager that you will work alongside into tech stories for your team.

    You'll work cross-functionally with the other members of senior management to devise & deliver on the technical strategy/roadmap for the future where you report into the CTO. You'll also be working on the application; building API's troubleshooting and fixing performance related issues and developing scalable and reliable solutions. In addition to this you will have some non-technical responsibilities including mentoring and training the team, aiding them with their own personal development.

    Requirements:

    * 4 years backend development experience
    * Minimum 1 years' experience with Node.js & MongoDB within the last 2-3 years
    * Strong experience working with cloud deployed, microservices architectures and building REST API's

    Preferable Requirements:

    Your priorities will be building and maintaining their microservices architecture which is deployed via GCP. Cloud experience is not essential here however you will need to have an understanding of how microservices architectures are deployed in a cloud environment. In addition to this you will be building REST API's, connecting modules and features to the architecture and corresponding databases (MongoDB).
