    A Fortune 500 FinTech Client of ours is in dire need of a VMware NSX Support Engineer who can come in to support their VSphere and NSX environments, focusing on NSX that supports our internal cloud. You will also be in charge of driving the technical design, implementation and ongoing support to ensure project and customer success derived from VMware NSX.

    The organization is currently going through one of largest platform implementation projects in the world. In the end, over 100,000,000 customers and over 280,000 employees will utilize the new, self-service platform running on AWS.

    A successful candidate will be responsible for NSX environment builds and maintenance VMware version migrations, and troubleshooting of the entire Virtualization infrastructure in adherence to the overall mission.

    HOW WILL YOU GET THERE?... You'll get there by…

    * Working with automation and updating products to install and maintain security updates and patches
    * Having a deep seeded Knowledge of VMware NSX products is a must for this position along with a background with infrastructure operational procedures.
    * will be completely focused on selling the value of VMware Network Virtualization and Security which includes technology from VMware and other vendors.

    You will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest and greatest technologies in a global, enterprise environment. Some of these tools (REQUIRED SKILLS) are:

    The Project

    What would you be doing? Our Client, a fortune 500 financial institution, is embarking on a massive digital transformation on the AWS cloud. The environment is mainly AWS with a decent bit of GCP planned particularly on the data side. Basically they are building a platform on top of a platform supported by AWS.

    How much support is needed? The AWS Platform will support over 100,000,000 global customers and 280,000 employees.

    The Job

    Do you have what it takes? The ideal candidate will have 3 attributes or job skills in their wheelhouse and if you have these 3 items, you are looking at an uncapped base salary limit during the negotiation stage of your hiring process!

    1 A developer who has a strong understanding of AWS infrastructure services in Computing, Networking, Storage and Observability.
    2 A developer who has the ability to build and set up AWS services themselves
    3 An individual who knows how to code and build software from scratch

    Candidates will be able to work remotely but MUST live within a commutable distance (a couple hours) from their respected location in case they need to go into the office for whatever reason deemed necessary.
