My Client is a start-up business in London, that is a free-thinking, cloud-focused consultancy that provides data-driven solutions to large-scale data movement projects. The clients range from global telecommunications companies to smaller companies.

The team is a great mix of old and "new school" technology specialists with many different nationalities and career experiences. Due to recent growth, they are looking for a Business Analyst. You will be working on an implementation project for a large Telecoms customer

This role will support a major Salesforce implementation project. The position will work with business stakeholders to ensure the prioritisation and implementation of changes for Salesforce and its applications and systems

Role & Responsibilities

* Identify, gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate these into technical specifications
* Effectively communicate specifications and proposals to all stakeholders including management, business users and IT developers (Solution Architects, Salesforce Developers, Chief Architects, PMO's)
* Strong emphasis on delivery and having the ability to run small projects with tangible milestones and delivering against them
* Communicate project progress via required reporting tools

Skills & Qualifications

* 5 years experience as a Business Analyst within the Telecom domain with at least 2 years working with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
* Experience working in Cloud platform is advantageous
* Experience of working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Experience in Business Process Mapping and requirements gathering
* Comfortable in a technical environment

Role: Python Developer

This role will give you the opportunity to join a leading health-care organisation working on Covid project which will be influential in helping strategies moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and development of highly scalable core services using the Python language
* Development and maintenance of the CMS system for the mobile and web applications using the django framework
* Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
* Development and maintenance of the data pipeline for analytics and reporting tools
* Developing reusable, testable, and efficient code using Python
* Follow and contribute to our engineering standards, tooling and processes.
* Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
* Collaboration with the Research and Design Teams in order to understand end user requirements for the implementation of new software features.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Develop applications using rapid agile methods with focus to deliver agreed shippable components to the end user and subsequent iteration to acceptance.
* Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a web solution.
* Developing applications using a microservices architecture.
* Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
* Writing clean and well-structured code.
* Develop and document detailed architectures for web solutions.
* Collaborate and work with other application developers and cloud service providers to ensure PHE derives the maximum benefit from any third-party service providers and that the right knowledge is transferred in-house.
* Continuously seek to improve your own knowledge of work areas and embrace the agile framework of software delivery methodology and aim to reach full agility with continuous integration, delivery and deployment.

Technical Skills and Experience:

* Experience of developing web applications using Python and the Django framework

Summary:

Working with the Head of MDM, you will design and implement components of the data management strategy, built on the following principles:

* Provide a centralized location to research, discover, and access Most critical data assets
* Provide centralized master data sets to foster consistency across business and corporate functions
* Provide transparency into the quality, sources, and ownership of data enabling core business processes
* Provide visibility into the business value and operational costs of the data assets and processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Identify common data elements supporting the core business processes (e.g. lead to cash) and their supporting applications (e.g. Sales Force) and establish enterprise standards for their provisioning and use.
* Partner with technical and business teams to enable their delivery of an interim customer, contact, and account data set solution within Sales Force.
* Work with the Head of Master Data Management to design and implement the strategic platform for Customer data including contact, customer, and product.



Knowledge and Skills:

* Understanding of Master Data Management technology landscape, processes, and design principles
* Familiarity in the use of metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship tools and platforms
* Experience working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation
* Ability to use judgement to select evaluation criteria and identify innovative solutions
* Experience in the use of data catalogs and data quality technologies

Senior Data Engineer | Remote, Full-Time | UK Based Candidates | Consultancy



Our Client are a UK based Strategy, Transformation, Data and Technology Consulting firm with a 30+ person Engineering team who solve complex problems through advanced technical solutions.

Working week - a mixture between Client work (4 days) and internal products/training (on a Friday) - the internal products / training is a chance for you to work on your own personal/professional development which may be exposure to new areas like ML, or participating in the approved paid certifications related to Data or Cloud (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect or Databricks, as an example)

The projects vary across a range of industries, but rest assured, you will never be expected to travel if on a remote contract (full-time contract) apart from the odd occasion to meet the Client. They are very flexible in matching you onto opportunities within your local area as well to keep the commutes minimal without the need for a hotel or time away from your family. In terms of what you will be getting involved with, again, very much dependent on where your interests lay... be that something greenfield within the financial services or elsewhere under a different industry/domain. In the past, they have created entire banks from scratch!! So plenty of exciting work to get behind.

Data Engineering - they are currently looking for Senior and Lead Data Engineers to come into the business and hit the ground running. As they are a smaller sized company, your contributions will not go unnoticed and there are clearly defined progression maps to have an understanding of what objectives need to be hit in order to gain promotion and elevate within your career. You will be technically curious, innovative, and able to work communicate effectively with the wider team and stakeholders.
