Lead Firmware Engineer - Salo/Espoo - up to 6200€/pm + bonus

Our client is looking for a Lead Firmware Engineer to join their expanding team. You will be working for a company that focuses on developing and delivering innovative identification solutions utilizing the latest RFID & IoT technologies for real-time item tracking.

Your role will be responsible for leading a team of firmware engineers in the development of firmware for our products.

Responsibilities

* Lead a team of firmware engineers in the development of firmware for our products.
* Ensure that the firmware is of high quality and meets the requirements of our customers.
* Ensure that the firmware is integrated into their products.
* Develop and maintain firmware engineering processes and procedures.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the firmware engineering team.
* Participate in the hiring process for new firmware engineers.



They're looking for someone with experience in:

* Experience in firmware engineering.
* Experience in a leadership role is appreciated.
* Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or Java.
* Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.
* Experience with firmware development on a Linux platform.
* Experience with industrial protocols such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and OPC UA is an advantage.
* Experience with version control systems such as GIT and SVN.
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
