Security Architect | 2 Days on Site, Knutsford | Inside IR35 |

Jefferson Frank are looking for a Security Architect to on-board for a 6 month initial contract working 2 days on site per week in Knutsford.

Overview:

* Enhances security team accomplishments and competencies by planning the delivery of solutions and answering technical questions.
* Plans, research, and designs security architecture for IT systems.
* Develops, reviews, and approves installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices.
* Determines security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements.
* Responds to, and investigates, security incidents and provides thorough post-event analyses.
* Develops project timelines for ongoing system upgrades.
* Reviews system security measures and implements necessary enhancements.
* Conducts regular tests and monitoring of network security.
* Verifies security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.

Role - Software Engineer - Java

My client are looking for a Backend Specialist, with Excellent Java (in particular), Python and NodeJS skills. A strong financial services background is imperative, along with good AWS experience.

The role is fully remote and Outside IR35!

What you will need



* Must have strong Java experience - 8, 11, & 17 (MUST HAVE)
* Back-end tools are a priority - Java, Python, Node.js (MUST HAVE)
* Recent Banking / Financial experience.
* Strong Communicator - Someone with a strong personality, independent and can take on tasks individually.
* You must have built cloud applications.
* AWS Experience.
* Good focus on quality unit test, component and e2e (JUnit, cucumber).
* You have a good understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

Test Lead / Test SME | COE

Inside IR35 rates up to £520 per day

1 - 2 days per week Northampton

Essential skills:
* Solution Development - Able to create fit for purpose technology solutions which address the combined challenges of meeting business need, deliverable within reasonable constraints, aligned with strategic and regulatory governance.
* IT Architecture - Excellent understanding of best practice architectural and design methods with proven innovative and leading-edge thinking (e.g., Domain Driven Architecture, building for resilience, scalability, performance, etc.) Familiar with integration and implementation issues and their architectural implications.
* Technical Knowledge - a very good broad understanding of a wide variety of technologies, including emerging technologies. (e.g. AWS, Java, C#, OpenAPI Specification (OAS) and RESTful API Modelling Language (RAML) ).
A general high-level understanding of infrastructure design would be expected. A broad understanding and experience of a wide range of data sources would be expected.



Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
* Project Delivery - Understands different project methodologies, project lifecycles, major phases, dependencies and milestones within a project, and the required documentation needs.
* Mentoring - Ability to mentor, develop and work alongside other more junior team members.
* Vendor Evaluation - Ability to understand how and where third-party products could be deployed. Good knowledge of vendor evaluation and selection best practice.
