    Infrastructure Technical Lead - FULLY REMOTE

    Salary up to EUR 130k DOE + Bonus (EUR 11k+ guaranteed)

    Job Description

    * Lead an infrastructure implementation team on a range of projects within an overall program of work
    * Review project technical deliverables for quality
    * Work with Senior Infrastructure and Solution Architects to turn the customers brief into low level technical designs and solutions
    * Work with the Infrastructure project manager to develop the required project approach, phases, deliverables, tasks and estimates
    * Coordinate with the Application Development Team on any cross-stream project issues or touchpoints
    * Coordinate with Third Parties (e.g. Networking service provider) to identify project integration touchpoints and agree their scopes of work

    Technical Skills:

    * Building containerised Microservice Architectures using Kubernetes (ideally Red Hat OpenShift 4.x)
    * Building highly available API services (ideally Red Hat 3Scale and SSO)
    * DevOps concepts and technologies (e.g. CI/CD pipeline automation)
    * Security Concepts and Standards (PCI an advantage)
    * Build Automation using Ansible
    * Building and migrating on premise infrastructure to Public Cloud or hybrid-Cloud
    * A solid understanding of network and firewall design concepts - while they do not provide this as a core service, this knowledge is beneficial to effectively coordinate with third party providers

    Desirable Technical Skills

    Exposure to other technical components and technologies in the clients estate would be beneficial but not mandatory:

    * Redis/Sentinel, Red Hat Data Grid, MariaDB Galera, HA-Proxy, NetScaler services integration, SSL certificates, IdM server management, MSAD integration
    * VMware ESXI and SRM
    * SAN technologies (ideally EMC VNX5200 family)

    The Opportunity

    You will play a key role in extending the capabilities of the companies Cloud SaaS product, being used by over 4 million employees, and over 300 well-known customers worldwide. Working within an agile team, you will be working on the Finance Development team. You will be helping design and implement new solutions to further streamline processes.

    The Responsibilities:


    Delivery of new capabilities, meet market needs, overseeing the design and implementation of quality code across the team

    You will provide all engineers with design and implementation support.

    You will work with Product Owners.

    You promote and advance key engineering initiatives within the team (eg. Release often)

    You will be working with Product Directors and Product Owners to understand business objectives.

    You will engage with senior business stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.

    The skill Requirements:


    Extensive experience of Java, OOP, JEE stack/Spring, JMS, Camel

    You have 5+ years working on application design and development, experience in JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS and JS frameworks such as Angular and React

    Excellent knowledge of API design patterns and standards including REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, Batch Integrations

    Deep experience in Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedure development and performance optimisation

    Experience with AWS + Cloud-first applications is Beneficial.

    Proficient with automated unit and integration testing

    You enjoy mentoring other team members.

    Experience working with financial data models is an beneficial
