Profil:

My client is looking for a dedicated subject matter expert (SME) in Automation with 3 years+ experience to join their team. As an SME, you will lead with the design and the implementation of a test automation program. In addition to this, you will work with integrators, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal customers to develop automation capabilities and implement exacting standards on aggressive project timelines.

Lastly, as the SME, you will support and advise a number of Agile delivery teams within the project, who will be responsible for the design and development of tests using the project approved tools and interact directly with the client where needed

Security clearances must not be more than 10 years old or 7 years for DV, and it must have more than a year remaining before the expiry
*

The candidate has taken up the post within 6 months of the clearance being granted.
*

The individual must have worked on a government contractor for a government department/Police Force in a role requiring NSV clearance within the last 12 months;

The individual must not have resided overseas for more than 6 months during the break-in service between government contracts.



Role - Automation SME

Rate - £500-£556 (Inside IR35)

Location - 5 days a week in the office as you will be working on highly important government projects. The office is in Basingstoke.

Contract Length - 6 months (View to extend to 18 months)

HLC, DV, & SC Clearance are MUST for this role.

You will be responsible for

Design and configuration of Automated Testing Suite.
*

Mentoring and directing Automated Test Engineers in effective ways to use the tools
*

Ensuring Automated Test Engineers are effectively utilised to deliver the required tests
*

Attendance at Agile Team meetings and events
*

To be an advocate for Automated Testing within the Project Team.
*

Experience of full software development lifecycle using Agile (SAFe)/DevOps concepts.
*

Practical experience with continuous integration tools.

Essential Skills:

Experience of full software development lifecycle using Agile(SAFe)/DevOps concepts.

Role & Responsibilities



* Supporting the development of the data science strategy to direct the companies data science capabilities and offer professional opinion and support on team development, project road mapping and horizon scanning.
* Support the Product Lead with operational budget planning and monitoring
* Implementation of the business engagement strategy to encourage a data driven culture and keep key stakeholders involved in the data science journey
* Manage the product life cycle of projects from proof of concept through to production and ongoing maintenance of algorithms, including proving business value through measurable results.

* Deployment, configuration, and management of all network infrastructure on TB's store, office, DC, and colocation sites * Design, plan, implement and maintain Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet firewall in the larger size network environment
* Collaborate with team members and various groups to identify and develop scalable network designs, solutions, and policy recommendation
* Ensure continued smooth operation of the global network infrastructure, working to minimize network downtime and the effects of downtime users by scheduling needed maintenance or upgrades to provide minimal disruption of service to users.
* Monitor and analyze network performance proactively to detect and resolve issues, and perform stringent network testing before implementing solutions
* Support internal application groups by identifying and presenting network-impacting requirements to other members of the network engineering team
* Perform configuration, upgrades, and deployment of routers and switches for all store locations
* Lead network projects, including the installation of new network hardware or software, and network configuration and design
* Support the Service Desk with troubleshooting circuit, equipment, and network issues and be the senior resource to assist with resolving critical/high impact customer issues
