As a Principal Product Manager, expect your creative, analytical, and leadership skills to be called upon from day one. You'll work alongside incredibly talented product managers, designers, and engineers, collaboratively building world-class products that solve our customer's greatest challenges and transform the way that teams work.

What you will be doing:

* Work with a cross-functional team of passionate engineers, product managers, and UX designers through iterative releases.
* Partner with key stakeholders to lead and define the product vision and strategy.
* Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
* Develop detailed product requirements.
* Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative product features. You'll own and drive specific projects from start to finish.
* Collaborate with engineering, QA and support teams on product releases.
* Set product direction and make decisions based on user feedback, user research, and data insights to deliver a phenomenal product experience for our customers.

What experience are we looking for?

* 10+ years of tech industry experience, 6+ years of which are within Product Management with SaaS or software solutions.
* Hands-on experience with BI, Reporting, Data Visualization, Analytics in past.
* Demonstrated success defining and shipping amazing products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.
* Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fluid organization.
* Comfortable with delving into the product, the platform, and the implementation details. Able to engage with engineering beyond just product and user experience needs.
* Having an inclination for identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon metrics.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey strategy and rationale for priorities, and tradeoffs at a high level. Engage with engineering and design through detailed technical specifications and/or wireframes.
* You are a problem solver with exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail.

As Delivery Manager, you'll be a leading force within your engineering team and across the wider business, driving forward and delivering changes and enhancements to our products at pace. More about the role
You'll play a leading role on your programmes, co-ordinating delivery across a number of engineering teams in order to realise key business outcomes

Be a partner to Procurement and Supplier Management, leading the supplier selection processes where products require significant third-party involvement and being accountable for establishing and managing the ongoing relationship with suppliers
Plan significant deployments across a number of products, ensuring relevant dependencies are identified and managed
Create and maintain roll-out schedules, track progress, always ensuring key stakeholders are kept up-to-date and risks & issues are appropriately managed
Spot and surface key risks and issues early, building an effective approach to mitigation, securing support of stakeholders as and when necessary
Coach others to help them understand the rationale for a technical approach, surfacing and dealing with ambiguity and conflicting demands
Conduct post implementation reviews to drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that learning is fed through the wider Tech approach to delivery
Actively contribute to the Delivery Practice, supporting the creation and implementation of a career framework and community

More about you
You'll have demonstrable experience of delivering technical programmes in an agile and product environment, with significant third party or deployment complexities
An in-depth understanding of agile values, principles, practices and associated approaches as they relate to delivery management
Familiar with key techniques and frameworks for structuring programmes, including effective planning, dependency identification and management, risk and issue management
Able to participate in technical detail, where needed, showing an understand of the technical landscape and can describe technical choices and trade-offs to different stakeholders within and outside of Tech

I am exclusively engaged with an award-winning IT Management Consultancy who are looking to continue their impressive 2021 growth by recruiting experienced Agile Coaches / Delivery Leads to join their expansive 'Client Delivery & Programme Management' function. They are a global business with offices in both the UK and the US, with their core focus being on the design and delivery of cutting edge Cloud/Data solutions to customers in Financial Services, Investment Banking, Utilities, Healthcare and the Public Sector.

Role Overview

Working in a hybrid role, your role will see you take ownership of complex IT and business solutions, leveraging your knowledge/understanding of Agile methods and essentially acting as a 'coach' throughout the delivery lifecycle. Your role will see you interact with external stakeholders (often c-level), helping them learn Agile ways of working by 'learning through doing'. Your role will also be critical to the delivery success of some of their core programs of work, scaling various Agile methods (without 'force-fitting' one particular framework), ensuring successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions.

Client Travel & Remote Working

Due to the client-facing nature of this organisation, you will be expected to spend 2/3 days' per week on-site with clients. You will also be given the opportunity to work from home 2/3 days per week (post-COVID), although the roles are fully remote for now. They are also fully supportive of flexible working.

Candidate Requirements

* Agile Coaching - Proven skills in Agile coaching (right up to c-level), with a proven track record of engaging, energising and cultivating Agile best practices.
* Consulting & Stakeholder Management - Proven experience working on client-driven programs of work, working closely with customers and key business stakeholders.
* Agile Methods - Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, XP and Crystal, as well as excellent knowledge of SAFe, Nexus, DaD and LeSS.
* Communication - Proven experience facilitating/leading Agile events (both in-person and online), as well as skills delivering Agile events/ceremonies to multiple teams (both technical and non-technical).
* Emotional Intelligence - Very 'cliche' I know, but roles of this nature require high levels of emotional intelligence, so candidates who are perceptive, personable and culturally sensitive will succeed due to the requirement to manage various relationships throughout the various delivery lifecycles.
