They started their journey in a small town and now work with leading educational institutions worldwide, enabling them to deliver digital exams to students onsite or remotely. In the last year, they have facilitated 3 million exam submissions from test-takers in over 150 countries.

We are looking for someone who can own the overall product experience and meet user and business needs within a given area of the product. You have a product-lead mindset, make data-informed decisions, and see opportunities where others don't. You love collaborating and show empathy towards customers and internal stakeholders, take pride in being an excellent communicator, and most importantly; get things done.

Who you are

* You are a current Senior Product Manager, Director of Product, or in a similar role
* Proven experience from digital product management and driving a product-led strategy with a focus on the end-users, ideally from a SaaS environment
* Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly and express them in simple ways
* Experience working in a cross-functional team with designers, engineers, and data scientists
* Owned product discovery and delivery for new solutions/products from conception to market introduction
* Created a product strategy where you've had the decision-making mandate on priorities
* Knowledge of various product frameworks, accessibility and privacy standards as well as system experience from Jira, Figma or similar tools
* Structured, energetic, and engaging, and are passionate about shaping the future of education!

Strategic Responsibilities

* Facilitate efficient and high quality product processes including product prioritisation within your product area.
* Work together with other product teams on developing the overall product priorities and product strategy.
* Be the company's expert on users' and business' needs within your area.
* Be responsible for the value and viability risk for your product team.
* Input to the overall company strategy based on insight within your area.

Day-to-day activities

* Manage value and viability risk in a cross-functional product team and steer priorities within your product area to meet users and business needs
* Conduct market and user research to ensure high standards of usability.
* Be the go-to person for your product area for customers and internally.
* Communicate strategy, ideas, priorities, plans, outcomes, and learnings in an efficient and inspiring way.
* Ensure alignment with overall company strategy through structuring OKR.
* Be an evangelist for product-led development and the value creation happening in your product area

Engineering Manager - Up to £85k + Bonus

Fully Remote

As an Engineering Manager, you will help drive the DevOps culture within one of the engineering functions. You will manage the service and development of our AWS platform or applications across production and non-production environments, including but not limited to the modernisation of existing services. The Engineering Manager will have a key role in managing the team workload and reporting on progress, working in accordance with development methodologies. The user will have leverage industry best practices, tools, agile methods and infrastructure to deliver high quality service.

* Has experience in successfully driving solutions in a cloud environment alongside multi-disciplinary teams across different, but related specialisms.
* Navigates multiple critical components & changes within their modern AWS estate
* Serves as the ultimate problem solver and final stop for troubleshooting issues.
* Defines and helps the team manage the flow of work independently.
* Serviced focused ensuring all service controls are met.

Cultural Leadership

* Understands the value in different ways of working and challenges inefficiencies.
* Drives improvements in community content, health, and moderated discussion.
* Responsible for the line management, coaching, and guidance of a team.

Stakeholder Management

* Has guided and influenced stakeholders.
* Challenges stakeholders and project scope where needed.
* Clarifies and communicates stakeholder objectives.
* Defines and elaborates on tasks, weighs pros/cons, coordinates with stakeholders for important components.

As part of the Product Management team, you will work closely with designers, data scientists and engineers to guide products from conception to launch. You understand user journeys, connect technical and business needs, and align teams across all functional areas. With your compassion and curiosity for our end-users, you identify barriers or blockers and generate solutions for resolving them quickly.

Role & Responsibilities

* Ensure the customer voice is present throughout the product development lifecycle
* Prioritise building what matters to balance long-term and short term customer needs
* Understand and analyse user needs and synthesise product requirements from customers
* Build and manage a product roadmap to support our goals and strategies
* Work with the UX team to define user problems, journeys and designs
* Engage with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable execution schedules
* Plan what the team will deliver, the timeline for implementation and organise and lead the sprint work through sprint events (standup, demo, retrospective).
* Work cross-functionally with our sales, customer success, customer services and product team to ensure that important customer needs are reflected in the product roadmap
* Perform strategic analysis and prioritise the problems to solve

Skills & Qualifications

* 5+ years experience in digital product management
* Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways
* Experience in developing requirement documents and user stories
* Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills including the ability to provide guidance to highly technical professionals and executive management
* Experience in project management and agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban etc.
* Experience with Atlassian JIRA/Confluence a plus
* Interest in data driven product solutions
