Role :
As the Manager, Cloud Operations; you will embrace and live the purpose of providing innovative solutions that enable our customers to achieve success by pushing yourself and your team to identify solutions to challenges that are most important for our customers. What you are accountable for :
* Best Practices/Operations :
o Establish appropriate guardrails for the cloud operations and deployment teams and promote process designs and best practices that keep teams within those guardrails;
o Financial monitoring of all cloud services, continuous cost saving analysis, and reporting services
o Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of Cloud DevOps services and processes, working with key stakeholders within R&D and Professional Services to increasingly enhance service delivery automation capabilities;
o Liaise and collaborate with Architecture and other key stakeholders within the Office of the CTO (OCTO) to ensure alignment to our long-term vision and strategy;
o Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - cloud infrastructure, applications, and disaster recovery fire-drills;
o Lead cloud Product Security Incident Response (PSIRT), incident resolution, change management, and problem management
* Leadership :
o Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment;
o Prepare and deliver product messaging that highlights our Cloud Platform value proposition;
o Leverage insights gained from customers to align and influence roadmaps and product development plans to enhance our Cloud offerings;
o Be an engaged manager who understands what individuals are working on, who maintains credibility with engineers, and participates in technical discussions;

* Background :
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar degree / field or equivalent practical experience;
o 5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role with a focus on cloud technology, distributed systems, infrastructure, and applications at large scale and under high load;
o Must have experience in numerous key AWS technologies: Control Tower, OpenSearch, EKS, EC2, Route53, Workspaces, AppStream, Kinesis, CloudWatch, etc.
o Industry cloud related certifications, such as AWS Certified Security, Solutions Architect, or Certified SysOps Administrator, etc.
o Strong knowledge of core banking systems. Experience in Open Banking (FAPI, FDX, PSD2, etc.) are an asset.
o Industry security related certifications, such as CISSP, CIPP, CIPT or CISM, are an asset
