    Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer- 3 Months Initial Contract

    My client, a dynamic, forward-thinking, growing consultancy based in Surrey is currently working with one of their end-user clients on an AWS Project. Specifically, they are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to make this a success. The position is one that can be done remotely but visiting the Surrey Office at least once a week which is easily accessible by private vehicle or public transport will be required.

    As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be advising on best practice as you will be working closely with the development team. Your responsibilities will be to build CICD pipelines from scratch and help deploy the lambda functions to their infrastructure.

    Must have :

    * Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
    * Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as terraform or cloud formation etc
    * Elastic Container Service (ECS )
    * CICD Build Tools- Experience building this from scratch using tools such as Jenkins or Team City
    * Strong serverless experience
    * Docker
    * Bash
    * Deploying lambdas
    * Good communication skills

    The role will include :

    * Work closely with the end customer
    * Building and deploying CICD pipelines
    * Test release and deploy process
    * Working remotely and going to the Surrey office at least once a week (Flexibility will always be allowed)

    Our fast-growing client specialises in Automating Software Testing and serve more than 300 enterprise customers, including NASA. The company focus on the development of testing and are currently working on an advanced testing platform which allows all software applications to be at the highest quality. They are looking for a Development Team Lead to join the team.

    You will be responsible for pushing and motivating the team in an Agile environment whilst also helping to build the SaaS product using Python on the back-end and JavaScript on the front-end. The role will be a 50/50 split between leadership and hands on engineering. The team size you will be leading is between 5-8 people. This is a great company to work for long-term due to the training and career progression opportunities, as well as the friendly culture.

    The office is based in Leatherhead, Surrey. The role is 100% remote during COVID-19 and then you will only be required to visit the office 2-3 times per week.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Ensuring that the team deliver amazing products that delight customers, efficiently, with high quality.
    * Provide guidance on approaches or alternate solutions within the development team.
    * Lead agile ceremonies or weekly (and other) team meetings.
    * Ensure that members of the team are working productively.

    * Solid experience working in an Agile environment

    Working with joint venture aimed at accelerating the discovery of new medicines in the pharmaceutical sector. The computing infrastructure is hosted in AWS, and uses a wide range of services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS/ECR, Batch, CloudWatch, SQS, and Lambdas. Python for deployments, data wrangling etc, and Docker with ECR/ECS for pipeline execution. Looking for a DevOps/ Software/ Infrastructure/ Cloud engineer with solid AWS experience to help maintain, operate, and develop the data analytics infrastructure.

    You will be part of the technical and operations team for the pipeline infrastructure. Responsible for both the day-to-day reliability of the system, and for making changes in a sustainable way. You will propose, plan and help to deliver strategic improvements, including changes to infrastructure, development tooling, shared environments and data sharing, and electronic lab notebook integration.

    We have an opportunity for a Development team lead to join a challenging and fun environment, working on the latest generation of their application suite. They are seeking a Team Lead with a strong full stack software development understanding and background, with a passion for world-leading software.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to design and implement multiple frontend and backend services as an essential part of the overall vision for their new offering.

    Duties will include:

    * Ensuring that the team deliver amazing products that delight customers, efficiently, with high quality, and with an appropriate level of predictability and transparency
    * Working with the Product Manager to create a Product Roadmap that is achievable, will delight customers, and will meet Eggplant's strategy objectives
    * Work with the Product Manager to ensure that new features work as expected, in a way that provides value to the customer
    * Define release plans and drive the team to meet these plans (with the support of the Programme Director). Communicate any changes to the release plan quickly and effectively

    What skillset are we looking for?

    * A deep understanding of Software Engineering gained through relevant experience
    * Strong Python experience
    * Excellent knowledge of OOP, design patterns and coding best practices
