What you'll do:

-Build platform functions and frameworks.
-Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep/Terraform.
-Automate Azure resource provisioning (Synapse, ADF, ADLS, Key Vault).
-Develop modular deployment patterns for dev/test/prod environments.
-Drive CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

Tech Stack & Skills:

-Programming: Python (automation & Spark) and/or C#/.NET.
-SQL: Advanced development & optimization.
-Azure Data Platform: Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, Functions.
-IaC: Bicep/Terraform.
-Architecture: Lakehouse, Data Mesh, metadata-driven ingestion.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services
* Work with AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3, Athena, EMR, Kinesis
* Develop data models and ensure data quality & governance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs
* Implement best practices for performance, scalability, and cost optimisation

What You'll Bring

* Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer in AWS environments
* Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modelling
* Hands-on expertise with ETL/ELT development and orchestration
* Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)
* Ability to work autonomously and deliver in a fast-paced project environment

Desirable Skills

* Experience with real-time/streaming data (Kafka/Kinesis)
* Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes (ECS/EKS)
* Experience supporting ML/AI data workflows

As part of the global operations team in Stockholm, you'll own and optimize the Atlassian ecosystem-including Jira Service Management, Confluence, Statuspage, and related Jira Cloud tools. You'll also lead integration projects with partners and customers, ensuring 24/7 operational availability for mission-critical services.

What You'll Be Working On

-Building and maintaining backend functionality using PHP and Laravel
-Developing a new internal admin & back-office application supporting core business operations
-Refactoring and improving functionality within a large legacy codebase
-Supporting the migration from a bespoke system toward modern frameworks, patterns, and standards
-Collaborating closely with a hands-on Technical Lead and CTO on long-term architectural decisions
-Ensuring software works cohesively with existing hardware and operational constraints
-Writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code
-Identifying technical debt, risks, and improvement opportunities
-Troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and resolving issues in production and non-production environments

What We're Looking For

-Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel
-Experience working with legacy systems, including refactoring and staged modernization
-Solid understanding of backend architecture, MVC, and RESTful APIs
-Experience building internal tools/admin or back-office systems
-Proficient with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
