    With 100 colleagues spread between their Stockholm and Gothenburg office, now it a great time to join their expanding IT team as their platform undergoes a backend transformation.

    The Role

    As a backend developer here your role with revolve around problem-solving, decision making and working in a team (or independently) to implement new functionality in my client's systems and services.

    Currently, they are working exciting digital development projects where you can your input on their evolving tech stack. As a part of the development team, you will be an important part of the planning and implementation phases.

    Your daily work will include programming, documenting and, to some extent, writing tests for your code.

    Your tasks include implementations with high demands on operational reliability, stability and security, as their services are developed towards the financial segment and often also towards the end customer.

    Desired Profile

    For this role, applicants should have 3 years of backend development experience - ideally with:

    * Java 8 or new versions.
    * API Development
    * Testing
    * MySQL
    * Microservice Architecture

    Now they are working with migration from PHP to Java, JS and Microservices so they see it as a big plus if you have experience with any of the following:

    * Optimising solutions for scalability, performance and security
    * Documenting application code
    * Writing testable code and code tests

    Role & Responsibilities

    * Work closely with the development team to maintain and improve upon existing CI/CD pipelines
    * Partner up with engineers to design, maintain and extend the current infrastructure; with a particular focus on Docker and Kubernetes
    * Implementing higher efficiency monitoring, incident reporting and code quality solutions; all in mind to achieve the highest levels of system reliability possible

    Skills & Qualifications

    * Experience with GCP/AWS is essential, knowledge of GKE/EKS, VPC, IAM are also highly transferrable; additional experience with K8S is also highly important (Cluster administration, monitoring and auto-scaling are required)
    * Experience setting up application monitoring, configuration, change management and trending are all essential (telemetry, alerts, reports)
    * Demonstrable ability to support and administer high-volume pre-release and production environments for internal-facing applications

    One of our clients based out of Stockholm is looking to expand their existing team of developers due to an increase in their project portfolio. Looking to hire immediately whilst willing to wait for the right type of candidate, our client is very excited to be hiring a CloudOps engineer to provide assistance with delivering a variety of tailored solutions.

    Your next challenge?

    Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to work both in-house and on-site with customers, providing high calibre solutions to specific, cloud-native requirements. This allows for successful candidates to quickly get a large number and variety of high quality projects completed, strengthening your project portfolio. Further to this, working both in-house and on-site means you will use your extensive Engineering abilities to set up deployment pipelines, migrating to the cloud, advising colleagues and customers which tools to use, as well as providing assistance to customers on-site in their own process to on-board new customers.

    Successful candidates will be working with both infrastructure and development teams to enable faster delivery of tailored solutions, as well as taking the very modern approach of not developing the back-end, but writing scripts and automating as much as possible. You will bring your cloud experience to the team and provide assistance in migrating towards serverless functionality, and embracing the cloud deliver model.

    Who are you?

    You are a highly experienced CloudOps Engineer, with a good working knowledge of either AWS or GCP, ideally with experience creating CI/CD pipelines from scratch. The client is looking to bring on a candidate who is experienced with Python, Linux (or an open source background), so experience with these tech stacks is preferable. You will have worked with the tools Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and any experience managing large clusters, or working with ElasticSearch is ideal. Finally, successful candidates will be passionate about technology and its real-life applications, alongside being a team player capable of working with a variety of people.

    In a world where thieves are getting creative in how they access other people's hard-earned cash, these guys want to bring new, secure payments using cryptocurrencies to the public. With a fully realised roadmap now in place they are starting their journey into the consumer market with their new headquartered in central Stockholm.

    With 50 people in the office, these guys are product orientated and looking for a Backend developer to join them remotely and then, in-house once "normality" resumes.

    Currently, the backend team is made up of 3 developers and focused on consumer products. The backend will be powering the frontend and mobile applications, so, if you enjoy seeing how your code affects the wider business this is the role for you.

    With this being a brand-new area for the business you will mostly be working on greenfield development using Python, Django, and AWS.

    Requirements

    You should have:
