    My client utilises best of breed Java toolsets focused on Micro Services Architectures, powerful front- and backend frameworks, RESTful services, and everything from NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Hadoop, high-performance data grids like HazelCast to multi-node relational systems.

    Developers will be responsible for the delivery of projects in an Agile way according to Functional and None Functional Requirements Specifications. You will be involved in technical leadership within a team to co-ordinate and deliver scalable, secure solutions in line with good industry software engineering practices (code quality, CI/CD, OWASP, TDD, SOLID, DRY etc).

    You will take technical ownership for a product or software components, covering design, estimation, shaping and functional/non-functional requirements. This will involved design, developing and maintaining cloud-based software applications using Java and associated frameworks (e.g., Spring, Groovy, Jersey, JUnit, Guava, Hibernate etc).

    * Experience in developing RESTful microservice architectures.
    * Experience in developing on Public Cloud such as AWS or Azure
    * Experience in delivering software using Agile.
    * Collaborate and liaise with other eam members, customer stakeholders and end-users during the development lifecycle - e.g., PMs, BAs, Tester, Product, Platform etc
    * Clearly communicate technical designs in conversation, documentation, and presentations to stakeholders of various technical abilities.
    * Provide effective knowledge transfer to team members and customers.

    Network Engineer - Up to £75,000 + 10% Bonus - Remote First Opportunity

    Looking for a Network Engineer for a, global, world leading domain registry company. As the Network Engineer, you will work to support and operate the network platforms, which are critical infrastructure supporting the core of the internet globally.

    Responsibilities:

    * Work will go between BAU and then project base duties, including design and deployment or the core infrastructure.
    * Additionally to that, you will research, develop, and evaluate network technologies and tools. You will achieve these tasks using your knowledge of network operations and by using cutting edge analysis tools.
    * Ensuring network platforms are secure, stable and maintained to maximise uptime for their internal and external systems
    * Work alongside the wider tech teams to ensure all systems are working in an efficient and scalable manner.

    Skillset:

    * Knowledge of network protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
    * Experience in the configuration of Juniper network devices.
    * Experience in the configuration of f5 Load balancers
    * Knowledge/experience of RedHat Linux command line
    * Knowledge of configuration management systems such as Ansible
    * Experience of a major scripting language (Preferably Python)

    Software Engineer in Test - up to £75,000

    We are leading in our field, setting ourselves as a trader of energy, to maximise the optimisation of renewable energy storage. Doing so, by combining cutting edge technology along the lines of data, machine learning and artificial intelligence to drive investment into green energy and accelerate a low carbon world.

    The role itself as a Software Engineer in Test, will see yourself being responsible for the following:

    * Defining and implementing the whole process around testing our code,
    * Writing test suites,
    * Improving the confidence in Python and VueJS applications,
    * Generally being a key figure in CI/CD definition to allow the tech teams to code and deploy confidently.

    Skill Requirements:

    * Working with an object oriented language for at least 3 years,
    * 2 years Experience directly with Python in a commercial capacity,
    * Experience testing Frontend applications built with VueJS or ReactJS and Backend applications built using python,
    * Testing containers (built with docker) deployed to cloud (AWS ideally) with Terraform,
    * Experience with CI/CD is preferred but not essential.

    For this role it is on a hybrid base, and be willing to commute to Oxford based office once a week, potential to be flexible across 4 times a month.
