    Senior Front End Developer - FULLY REMOTE

    Salary up to £70k + shares



    The Senior Front End Developer is responsible for the development of software products and supporting systems. In this role, the Senior Front End Developer will use advanced technical and problem-solving skills to help the team tackle complex issues, satisfy customer requirements, and accomplish development objectives.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    * Participates in planning, architecture, and research
    * Performs complex development activities that may require extensive analysis in areas including user experience, software design and solver research
    * Employs best practices and helps to maintain them through technical reviews and mentoring
    * Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions
    * Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. May work with strategic customers or proxies to assess needs and develop solutions
    * Works independently with minimal supervision and may take on some planning and mentoring responsibilities
    * May be responsible for managing interns or co-ops but typically does not have direct reports

    Preferred Skills:

    * Commercial experience with typescript based modern front end technologies and object oriented design principles
    * Excellent technical knowledge and commercial experience with angular 2+ or similar frameworks and modern design patterns
    * Passion for crafting robust and efficient code
    * Experience delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development environment
    * Understanding of customer requirements and tools used in this domain
    * Good communication and interpersonal skills

    What qualifications/experience do we need?

    * Working knowledge of public cloud services such as AWS.
    * Hands on knowledge of LAMP stack administration,
    * Extensive knowledge of Python with the ability to build and interact with REST APIs.
    * A strong desire to maintain a reliable IT infrastructure using documentation, careful planning and automation
    * Able to communicate with people across multiple locations and at different levels.

    Lead AWS DevOps Engineer, UK Wide, £110,000

    Are you different from the masses? A boutique cloud consultancy are actively seeking an innovative thinker with a demonstrable strength in leadership and management within the DevOps space.

    You will take an active part in project design and build, supporting Developers and other members of the project teams and supporting the systems that these tools reside on. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with advancements of in-house disciplines, suggesting approaches, implementing proof-of-concept and contributing to the future of the business. Most importantly, communication with key stakeholders and customers must be fluent.

    Day to day responsibilities:

    * Provision of standard toolsets e.g. Terraform, BitBucket, Jenkins, Kubernetes
    * Building environments and pipelines for projects large and small
    * Continuous improvement of internal process
    * Technical administration of the companys hosting and cloud providers
    * Managing the team, and assuring targets are met.

    What it'd be great if you had experience in?

    * Experience with any configuration management tools e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
    * Experience with any build and provisioning tools
    * Extensive Linux Systems Administration experience
