    We at Jefferson Frank are proud to have partnered with a leading household name and are currently building out a brand new scrum team to work on an exciting greenfield project within the public sector.

    As part of this team we are seeking the expertise of an experience SC Cleared Solutions Architect.

    SC Cleared Solutions Architect Role & Responsibilities:

    * Proactively work with client to identify solutions for the future business and develop proposals that can be released into projects for delivery.
    * Production of High Level Designs mapping known application and infrastructure requirements into a new private cloud architecture;
    * Taking the High Level Design forward into production of the detailed low level designs - working with and helping guide subject matter experts;
    * Overseeing technical implementation activities ensuring implementation and testing in accordance with the design and proactively dealing with technical issues as they arise;
    * Helping guide the migration and testing strategy for the specifics of applications and infrastructure within the scope of high level designs
    * Proactively work with client to identify solutions for the future business and develop proposals that can be realised into projects for delivery.
    * Liaising with external stakeholders to understand their systems and the business problem, which needs to be solved.
    * Production of High Level Designs mapping known application and infrastructure requirements into a new private cloud architecture.
    * Taking the High Level Design forward into production of the detailed low level designs - working with and helping guide subject matter experts.
    * Overseeing technical implementation activities ensuring implementation, testing in accordance with the design, and proactively dealing with technical issues as they arise.
    * Helping guide the migration and testing strategy for the specifics of applications and infrastructure within the scope of high level designs.



    SC Cleared Solutions Architect Skills & Experience:

    * Familiarity with firewall implementations
    * Familiarity with virtualisation technologies
    * Understanding of security architecture patterns
    * Ability to interact with key stakeholders at a senior level with excellent communication skills
    * Deep understanding of Microsoft based infrastructures (Windows Server 2016; SQL Server 2016)
    * Deep understanding of networking principles (LAN designs; routing; load balancing)
    * Solution design: use modelling, decision making and validation techniques to design a solution that

    fulfils business needs

    * Integration: create a coherent solution that integrates diverse technology and business aspects
    * Business analysis: understand and validate stakeholder needs
    * Change delivery: drive transformation
    * Cost modelling: analyse financial and risk aspects of solutions

They are an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Consulting and Channel partner, working with a diverse group of clients who expect the highest standard of service. They work with customers at every stage of their cloud journey, supporting them from the initial planning stages, through migration, and ongoing management and optimisation.

    Our team of AWS certified solution architects and engineers have extensive experience in designing, managing and deploying mission critical AWS based solutions for customers worldwide, with requirements ranging from single servers to multi region high traffic websites with millions of users.

    This new role within my client will help drive the continued growth of their AWS services and be part of a dynamic group of people who are passionate about our customers success.

    About my client

    * As a business they are committed to the development of their staff, making sure everyone has the right certifications and experience to develop themselves and support their customers
    * They can be flexible on location for this role, though regular engagement face to face with our engineering teams at our head office in Edinburgh, would be required
    * This role offers a base salary + Sales Commission Scheme

    Responsibilities

    * Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline in our product areas and verticals (with a primary focus on Education)
    * Reporting on pipeline, activities, actions and progress / next steps
    * Ownership of reporting on sales KPI's
    * Developing, with the business, a sales plan; and able to execute against
    * Develop long-term strategic relationships with their key accounts, identify their clients roadmap and grow their business with AWS and my client
    * Identify new logo routes and customer opportunities
    * Managing contract and commercial negotiations within their framework
    * Travel as required to meet new and current clients to develop business opportunities
    * Working with AWS and their Partners to identify opportunities for lead generation from those relationships
    * Take ownership of the sales engine within my client and work with the leadership team in developing opportunities
    * Prepare proposals and sales documentation, and help improve and refine their sales approach
    * Closing deals in line with targets



    Experience & Skills

    * Strong and successful sales career in the IT / Managed Services / Hosting / Cloud Industry
    * Track record of hunting
    * Excellent Customer skills with the ability to orchestrate the right resources around a sales engagement
    * Full understands and can take customers through the sales cycle
    * Good understanding of AWS with experience in AWS sales
    * Wider experience and understanding of the Cloud and Managed Services industry
    * Able to articulate and speak to; Managed Services, Cloud and business and technical cases for this technology, as well as AWS and the public cloud
    * Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    * Strong negotiation, influencing and engagement skills
    * Strong record of developing growth & adoption of cloud technologies into enterprise businesses

    Jefferson Frank are searching for a Enterprise Architect to join a trusted advisor in energy market governance. The focus of this role will be to work in conjunction with my clients senior stakeholders and Senior management team to ensure the organisations services are evolved according to architectural strategy.

    The role will be 6 months initially and falls outside IR35. My client is looking for the successful candidate to start in Mid March. This position is going to be mainly remote with some visits to Nottingham/London.

    Essential skills required

    * The candidate should come from a technical delivery or development background
    * Be a quick learner able to pick up both technical and business concepts quickly
    * Demonstrable track record of architecting secure, national network/IT services in a cloud environment using open source technologies
    * Hands-on experience of up to date solutions and tools in the AWS cloud environment
    * Track record of building and running an architecture function including a technical design authority
    * Working knowledge of modern security techniques and solutions
    * Technical assessment of 3rd party technical solutions
    * Systems integration solutions
    * Track record of maintaining coherent technical designs across multiple internal and external service providers and implementations

    Highly desirable skills:

    * Knowledge of event driven, messaging or service-oriented architectures
    * Expertise in integration technologies such as JBoss Fuse etc
    * Experience of designing flexible and extensible technology services based on Open Standards and industry best practice
