    The client is an omni-channel specialty retailer who is going through a period of growth and needs a fresh Devops Engineer to join their team.

    Responsibilities:

    * Review and repair code.
    * Develop technical specifications gathering and writing as needed to maintain system.
    * Conduct system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep the systems current with changing technologies.
    * Analyze, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems.
    * Design software or customize software for client use in the eCommerce web and mobile site, and in-store tablet applications, with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
    * Analyze current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
    * Develop new programs and proofing the program to develop needed changes to assure production of a quality product.
    * Maintain working knowledge of advancing technologies relating to web-based interface system.
    * Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and collaborative environment.
    * Able to lead medium complexity projects with minimum supervision.

    Qualifications:

    * Master's or Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, or related technical field.
    * Excellent written and oral communication skills
    * Expert in all stages of Software Development Lifecycle
    * Knowledge of Java, Struts, Spring, Junit, XML, XSLT, JSP, Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Hibernate, SQL

    Project Description:

    * Support new featues and enhancements in a proprietary web engine that will embed a DocuSign process in the information capture and scheduling system.
    * Planning, designing, developing, and testing cloud-based applications
    * Analyzing customer user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processes or to improve existing systems
    * Working closely with other Cloud and Solutions Architects on the migration of customer web applications to AWS
    * Collaborating with other engineers and architects to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our customers
    * Contributing to the task estimation process, including understanding customers' current environment in order to suggest the most effective AWS Services
    * Building serverless applications for customers using a variety of AWS Services

    Techincal Requirements for this Assignment:

    * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar degree
    * AWS Certification(s), dependent on assignment
    * AWS Serverless Application Model (SAM)

    * JavaScript Framework - Vue.js
    * 3+ years of experience developing production-level software in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript and/or Go.
    * 3+ years experience with MySQL, MS SQL, or another relational database. Familiarity with DynamoDB or another NoSQL database.
    * 2+ years experience container experience (Docker, Docker Compose, or Kubernetes)
