    3 The SaaS platform is a dynamic single page application used by thousands of engineers and finance folks who use our platform to help them quickly answer complex, data-heavy questions.

    You will…

    * Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems for their main application.
    * Build to scale as we bring in users with larger datasets and bigger organizations.
    * Help improve our engineering processes and system to ensure we have a group that can move fast and iterate quickly, giving everyone agency, ownership, and ability to impact the success of the company.



    What are the required skills needed to get the job done?

    Please come ready to work with significant experience in the following…. I mean it is why they are hiring you!

    · Building APIs and Complex Backend Systems in the Cloud (AWS)

    · Experience managing and manipulating data at scale

    · Significant Python experience



    · Design Patterns

    · Pragmatically applying theory into practice when architecting out systems and code.

    I am working with an established & growing healthcare company that is looking to bring on a Remote full-time, permanent Senior Data Engineer with Azure, SQL and Azure Data Factory experience . Some responsibilities include:

    -Actively participate requirement elicitation sessions to identify and document business functions data needs Estimate efforts to develop and refine functional and non-functional requirements.

    -Estimate tasks with granularity and accuracy commensurate with the information provided. Lead rapid prototyping and POC development efforts and design enterprise-grade data services Design and develop enterprise dataflow architecture and implementation best practices.

    -Design, develop and deliver cost-efficient data engineering solutions that meet business line and enterprise requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Work with stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

    -Configure cloud infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Azure technologies. Ensure standardization of SQL coding practices and adherence to coding standards, change control, and SQL best practices Design and implement ETL packages in accordance with documented templates and standards as defined by the data management group Research, Diagnose, and Monitor Performance Bottlenecks, etc. Build dimensional representations of data either in the data repository or in OLAP tools
