Title: AWS Security Consultant / 100% Remote Available / $120-160k per year


Location: Remote; various office locations

Pay: Up to 160k based on experience

Employment: Full-time permanent position (W2)

My clients are seeking an EXPERT AWS Security Consultant with strong knowledge on cloud security practices within AWS.

Requirements:

* AWS experience for 3+ years
* IaC withCloudFormation orTerraform

* Automation experience

* Scripting is a plus

* VPC, IAM, Config, GuardDuty, WAF, Lambdas

Job Description

Out Client produces a product that protects consumer facing web applications and APIs at large enterprises from a variety of threats. This Security Platform provides run-time visibility, cataloging and risk assessment which protects them business logic attacks and exploits targeting application vulnerabilities.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working and the back and front end components of the companies products. You will also be responsible for designing and developing new ideas that generate innovation for the continuation the product success.

Role & Responsibilities

* Seeing through a project from conception to finished product
* Design client-side and server-side architecture
* Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
* Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
* Work with Product management, Data Scientists, UX and other Engineers as well as Security experts to strive for greater functionality in our core products
* Work within an Agile workflow to organize tasks and collaborate with other team members (Jira)

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or another relevant field.

* Expert level experience with programming languages Java/Scala/Kotlin/Python etc.
* Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Amber.
* Good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms.
* Experience with Cloud services such as AWS EC2, EMR, EKS etc is a plus.
* Experience with working in Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

My team and I are currently working on a fully remote AWS Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role at a growing company that is looking to add a dynamic, professional and knowledgeable candidate to its DevOps Team. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work less on CI/CD pipelines and automation, but rather monitoring, alerting and overseeing the general reliability of our client's platform in order to allow other teams to focus mainly on feature development.
