Overview:

Jefferson Frank is partnering with an AWS Consulting firm that is seeking experienced professionals who want to be a part of a highly professional and dynamic team that supports the industry leaders in Financial Services (Wealth Management, Asset Management, Banking, Insurance) consulting, helping with the design & delivery of effective transformation programs across people, processes, & systems.

With 10+ years of AWS & 20+ years of Financial Services experience, they understand the business needs & build solutions to meet sales, marketing, & compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Reviewing existing AWS Key Management Service (AWS KMS) requirements and implementation,
* Developing cloud Center Of Excellence (CoE),
* Leading the infrastructure work stream for the CoE,
* Setting up and operating the work stream,
* Defining foundation capabilities to build, developing and prioritizing backlog and assisting with implementations,
* Documenting activities and required work stream management tasks,
* Reviewing backlog and recommending priorities of capabilities to build for the infrastructure work stream,
* OU implementing standard AWS Identity Access Management (IAM) roles,
* Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) design. Recommending new AWS KMS requirements versus leading practices, and providing a framework for infrastructure
* Recommending new AWS KMS requirements versus leading practices
* Review existing fault isolation detection (FID) requirements and implementation
* Recommend general leading practice FID requirements
* Providing a leading general practice bastion hosts security design
* Providing an AWS CloudFormation template to implement hosts and security groups
* Providing hands-on training of AWS CloudFormation template to implement hosts and security groups

Requirements:

* At least 4 years' experience in AWS
* Ablity to read, write and test code

* Accepted Languages: Python, Ruby, Node or Java

* Knowledge and hands on understanding of Cloud Formation, CloudTrail and CloudWatch
* Knowledge and exprience using Secrets Manager, Security Guard and other AWS security services
* Prior consultant experience preferred
* Highly articulate and well spoken
* Prior experience or interest in working with finical institutions and similar clients

Key responsibilities:

* Help customers design their cloud journey by providing technical and strategic guidance
* Strategize, consult, design and implement AWS cloud solutions

* Assist in selecting tools for building Infrastructure-as-Code
* Develop configuration management modules

The ideal candidate will possess:

* At least 3 years of AWS experience

Job Description

- This is a key role which focuses on engineering and maintaining the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes for workloads deployed in the firm's hosting zones/environments. This individual will work as a part of a growing DevOps team to automate pipelines for hosted environments as well as providing consulting services to application and infrastructure teams specific to automated build, test, and release automation. This role will be responsible for the operations and operating environment for the DevOps platforms and will drive troubleshooting efforts around incidents and outages.

Role & Responsibilities

* Support a constantly improving Development Experience as a highly functioning member of the DevOps Team.
* Collaborate with Cloud Ops to provide on-going operational support of the DevOps tools and services supporting various cloud environments
* Strengthen and maintain the management of the build and deployment processes and infrastructure
* Design, engineer and support the DevOps CI\CD tooling and platform roadmap and own the lifecycle of these platforms
* Seamlessly integrate DevOps with infrastructure and automation orchestration platforms through established architectural patterns (e.g. APIs)
* Automate the full SDLC and PDLC lifecycle process for application and infrastructure as code workloads destined for the firm's hosting zones
* Ensure all services are hardened and security best practices are followed during the automated CI\CD processes

Skills & Qualifications

* 3+ years of hands on DevOps experience.
* Expertise in continuous integration, continuous deployment, application performance monitoring, and alerting systems
* Expertise in DevOps Tools. Focus of Atlassian Stack: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence helpful.
* Strong Automation Tool Experience: Jenkins, Harness, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc
* Expertise in management tools - Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Sumologic, Splunk,
* Direct experience with DevOps in AWS and Azure
* Experience supporting cloud networking - DNS, WAF, SG, NACL
* Experience in multiple scripting languages - Python, Powershell, Perl, Javascript,
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Expertise in relational and NoSQL data platforms
* Experience supporting mission critical Linux and Windows systems at scale
* Experience in supporting containerized workloads - Docker, EKS, Kubernetes

Job Description:

Our client is a rapidly-growing AWS ISV Partner, looking to bring on an experienced Principal/Senior Software Engineer with strong architecture, containerization and infrastructure design background. This position is a leading role on their growing Engineering team and handles a range of software engineering requirements including leading a fully automated cloud infrastructure environment from the provisioning, deployment, management, and oversight of a highly scalable set of SaaS services.

Job Requirements:

* Excellent understanding of AWS tools/services - AWS Lambda serverless, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS
* 8+ years as a Lead, Senior or Principal software engineer, extremely hands-on with programming / development.
* Design and implement Complex backend containerized and serverless microservices on AWS while leveraging AWS Lambda and Docker Containers.
* ML, AI, Data Science, or any AWS IoT experience is highly preferred.
* High-volume data management, designing ETL pipelines and backend data frameworks
* Architect and implement high volume/ high frequency data loading and transformation processes using ETL methods.
* Docker, Kubernetes containerization experience is required.
* Languages: Java, Javascript (required)
* Experience working for another AWS ISV Partner or SaaS-based company - nice to have.
