The client is one of Europe's leading cloud-based veterinary clinic and hospital management software houses. Their mission is to empower veterinary professionals in over 10 countries to save time, improve care and personalise their customer experience. They currently have over 15,000 veterinary professionals using their products with a goal to grow the user base to 150,000 by 2030.

The role is a Django developer to join the team working on their cloud-based ERP system for veterinarians that simplifies the life of clinics by streamlining client and care processes. It has been developed with 20yrs+ of experience, the intuitive system is the pinnacle of ERP systems.

In this position you will be working as a part of their Customer Success development team alongside with their other developers and other development teams. Your main tasks include working on the system improvements & extensions with their Django framework based Cloud project.

Role Description:

* Work in the back office with their talented team
* Communicate daily with the team, work together to solve blockers and impediments, be part of the positive work environment
* Develop new features according to specifications

What is required:

* Professional experience in back-end web development using Python frameworks such as Django, DRF, FastAPI or Flask

They've created a high quality SaaS platform which is used for sourcing participants for clinical trials. Automating area's of the process through a cloud-based infrastructure which provides simplicity and practicality to their clients, helping them gain access to participants faster. Historically, this process is a long and arduous task, especially in a market which has grown to be worth $5 billion. Marrying their software, recruitment and digital marketing capabilities allows them to deliver a premium service.

The Role:

Kicking off this period of significant growth, this client is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join in Q1 of 2022. The candidate will be joining the development team and will be responsible for new development, building new features and API's for their infrastructure as they expand their product range. They'll also be responsible for making performance related improvements, managing the trunk based delivery and training & mentoring, helping to guide and develop the more junior developers within the team.

As a result, it's required that the candidate displays a can-do attitude and is wanting to get their hands dirty with coding responsibilities where they will demonstrate strong problem solving skills on a daily basis. The infrastructure has been built using Node.JS however candidates are welcome to apply who have worked with another core programming language if they are wanting to work with Node. The team works DevOps style so experience with fixing the backend environment as you go along would be preferred. Other area's of the tech stack include Javascript, React (Next.JS), Microservices, GraphQL and AWS for deployment and monitoring services.

Mandatory Requirements:

* Strong experience with backend development (Node.JS, Java, .NET or another core programming language)
* Frontend experience with Javascript or React
* Experience with microservices architectures and/or cloud services (AWS) for deployment

Beneficial if you have:

* GraphQL experience
* Experience working DevOps style for development working with internal infrastructures
* Swedish speaking
