📍 Job Location: Taby, Sweden - Hybrid role (1-2 days)
🛠 Role: Senior Python Developer
🌐 Skills required:

* Strong Python experience, preferably 5+ years.
* Leadership experience, or a drive to work in leadership.
* Experience explaining technical pros and cons to stakeholders
* Good personality! Very important for my client! Need to be humble, easy to talk to, and will feel passionately about the product.

🌐 Preferred Not Required

* Experience with real-time processing of video and audio
* Experience with Nuitka for application packaging
* Experience developing applications for enterprise environments
* Experience with AI and ML pipelines.

Backend Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Back end Java Developer to join a long-standing organisation as they maintain and modernise a mission-critical core system that has been the backbone of their business for over two decades.



About the Role



You will work primarily on a large-scale back end system built in Java 8. The role requires strong expertise in working with complex legacy systems, ensuring stability and performance, while also playing a key part in the company's modernisation and cloud migration journey.

A major part of the transformation will involve upgrading to newer Java versions and migrating the system to Microsoft Azure. Your technical insight and problem-solving skills will help shape the next generation of the platform.



Responsibilities



* Understand, maintain, and enhance a 20-year-old Java-based back end system.
* Ensure performance, stability, and reliability of business-critical processes.
* Drive modernisation efforts, including upgrades to newer Java versions.
* Contribute to the migration of the system to Microsoft Azure.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical transformation projects.
* (Bonus) Support integration work with .NET technologies.



Requirements



* Strong experience as a Java Developer, ideally with Java 8.
* Proven ability to work with complex, large-scale legacy systems.
* Solid understanding of back end development and system architecture.
* Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
* Knowledge of SQL databases and enterprise environments.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.



Bonus Skills



* Familiarity with .NET technologies.
* Background in system migrations and modernisation projects.
* Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
