12+ months in length

Up to £650 per day (Inside IR35)

3 days per week in either London, Manchester, Hursley/ Cheltenham

Skillset:

* Javascript
* React, Node
* AWS (Lambda, Dynamo)
* Designs, builds, and manages cloud-based applications, infrastructure, and resources.
* Designing and developing: Creating cloud-based systems and architectures, and developing, testing, and debugging applications
* Deploying and managing: Deploying applications to cloud platforms, and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform

One of my clients is searching for a Finnish freelance .NET developer to join their team.



Required Experience:

Proven experience in .NET development, preferably with .NET Core or .NET 6/7.

Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.

Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other databases.

Familiarity with Azure cloud service is a plus.

This role will lead, monitor, optimise and continuously improve the delivery of software components so that a Council can provide simple user experiences and achieve better outcomes for people and businesses. They will be responsible for leading the team writing clean, accessible code that is open by default and easy for others to reuse, developing software which meets user needs and creates meaningful interactions and relationships with users.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience



* Educated to Degree Level or equivalent by experience in a relevant subject.
* Hold relevant Microsoft certifications such as PL-100: Power Platform App Maker, PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant, PL-400: Power Platform Developer, PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect.
* Proven experience with Microsoft Power Automate Desktop and DevOps.
* Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Dataverse, and Azure Services
* Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) in Power Platform
* Knowledge of JSON, Power Fx, JavaScript, HTML and SQL.
* Qualification or high level of demonstrable capability with relevant vendor business applications


Desirable:



* Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of, and capability to work within, relevant ICT related standards including HMG Security Policy Framework, IITIL V3, ISO/IEC 38500, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301, ISO/IEC 20000, PRINCE2 and MSP
* Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to present information in simple and accessible language to a wide range of audiences
* Experience of balancing the needs of users with organisation priorities to make the right decisions and empowering teams to act upon them

About the Job:

Role, you will design, develop, deploy, and document secure and functional APIs that integrate Employment Hero's HR and Payroll modules with third-party client platforms (such as timesheet and finance systems). You'll work day-to-day with our clients and partners, acting as the technical expert who architects API solutions based on client requirements and Employment Hero's documentation. You will manage the full API lifecycle, liaise with third-party vendors, contribute to solution design workshops, and ensure the integration meets performance, security, and documentation standards. Your work will make a direct impact by enabling clients to use automated HR and Payroll processes efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties:

API Solution Design & Development

* Architect and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs to integrate Employment Hero with external platforms.
* Implement OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication for API access.
* Manage the API life-cycle including testing, deployment, version control, logging, and monitoring.
* Use Python (e.g. FastAPI) and Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Microsoft Fabric pipelines) for development and orchestration.
* Document integration specifications and processes clearly for future maintenance and support.

Collaboration & Client Integration Support

* Liaise with third-party vendors and client IT teams to align technical details.
* Work closely with consultants to align API designs with functional requirements.
* Participate in workshops, contribute technical insight, and support user acceptance testing.
* Deliver training, handover materials, and ongoing technical documentation.
* Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
