    The public sector team here at Jefferson Frank are supporting a defence client who's in pursuit of a Safety Engineer.

    Active Security Clearance is required!

    The successful candidate will derive and manage Product Safety requirements, implement and maintain the Safety Management System, and ensure products are safe to own and legally operable. This position is vital to ensuring that products not only meet industry standards, but also exceed the end customer's expectations.

    Core Responsibilities:
    * Deriving and managing Product Safety requirements to ensure our products are compliant with regulations and safe for use.
    * Developing, implementing, and maintaining the Safety Management System, in order to reduce risks and ensure operational efficiency.
    * Leading the production and management of Project Safety Management Plans to ensure comprehensive safety measures are in place.
    * Facilitating Product Safety hazard and risk identification, conducting safety assessments, and managing mitigation activities.
    * Overseeing the construction and delivery of the Project Safety Case, including Safety Case reports, to guarantee that safety measures are comprehensively documented.

    Essential Skills:
    * STEM degree or equivalent, with a robust understanding of product design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and testing.
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) to manage and present data efficiently.
    * Strong analytical skills to analyse complex problems and identify the most critical safety issues.
    * Ability to produce, present, and articulate clear, logical, and robust technical safety arguments.
    * Excellent leadership skills with experience in chairing hazard identification meetings and other relevant safety-focused working groups.

    Advantageous Skills:
    * Professional chartership or working towards it, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.
    * Understanding of the application of wider Safety Case, Quality, and Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Management System documentation.
    * Experience in delivering training to Product Safety and Environmental domains and the wider community.
    * Demonstrated capability in producing high-quality technical report writing.

    SC Cleared IT Systems Engineer (DevOps) | 12 months | Inside IR35 | Remote/3 days on site - Surrey

    Jefferson Frank are supporting a client within the public sector who are in pursuit of a - IT Systems Engineer.

    Knowledge and experience of:
    * Developing and testing IT solutions for a development test rig
    * Developing and testing Virtual desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions
    * Developing and testing Virtual Machine solutions (VM Ware)
    * Software, V Sphere, VM Ware, desirable: C sharp, zabbix, bamboo
    * Scripting languages, ideally Python and Powershell,
    * Infrastructure hardware (physical rack mounted equipment).
    * Administration functions within a virtualised environment- including virtual resource management, resilience (HA & DRS), clustering and performance monitoring.
    * Orchestration tools (automation, scripting).
    * File systems and storage management (migration, snapshots, allocation).
    * Server operating system administration (Windows and Linux).
    * Containerised software applications.
    * HCI (human computer interfaces).
    * Cabling/patching (Ethernet and Fibre), cable management, clear labelling and patch diagrams.
    * Ability to respond to technical queries and perform troubleshooting investigations where necessary, with full root cause analysis and rectification plan creation.
    * Working in an 'Agile' engineering development environment.

    Specific Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
    * Compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations.
    * Design documentation generated, captured, configured and controlled in accordance with company processes.
    * Engineering LCM adherence for all deliverables, Sub Contract Design Reviews and relevant input to project LCM activities.
    * Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, Sub Contract Design Reviews and relevant input to project LCM activities.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    * 5 years experience as a DevOps engineer
    * Knowledge of IT systems in the defence, maritime or closely linked domain and have a comprehensive understanding of how their own systems and activities interact with the overall platform.
    * Knowledge of the complete engineering lifecycle with some experience of operating in a number of phases.

    Overview:

    Jefferson Frank are looking for 4 Product Security Analysts to engage on a contact basis with one our established Public Sector clients.

    Required Skills:

    * Former CLAS consultant
    * Strong experience of developing Risk Management Accreditation Document Set (RMADS).
    * Current CISSP or CISM qualification
    * Strong background in HMG and MoD Policies, SPF, JSP440, JSP 604, and TEMPEST
    * Proven experience of assessing and managing information risk in line with industry good practice.
    * Proven experience of applying Product Security/Information Security concepts to applicable technologies within the environment (or similar). Experience of Product Security Engineering activities in the defence, maritime or closely linked domain.

    Also:

    * Developing Risk Management Accreditation Document Set (RMADs)
    * Performing risk assessments using multiple methods including IS1, ISO27001, NIST, Mitre, STRIDE.
    * Selection of security controls, providing guidance on implementation and capture of compliance.
    * Attendance at Security Working Groups (SWGs), design reviews and gate reviews
    * Be able to contribute and influence the development of Product Security strategies, policies, guidance, good practices and awareness.
    * Be able to recommend appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks in line with government and MOD policies and good practice, to provide more cost effective risk mitigation in the longer term.

    Jefferson Frank are proud to be supporting a London based consultancy who are looking for a Product Security Analyst.

    Active Security Clearance is required!

    You will be a focal point for security and information risk matters within the Product Security Engineering (PSyE) team and will be able to apply their deep level of subject matter expertise and experience to ensure that submarine systems and products are delivered and can be managed and supported through-life.

    As a PSA you will provide subject matter expertise and advice to other functional and capability areas to support overall project delivery and performance and advice and consultancy to design authorities and interested stakeholders.

    Skills required:
