I am working with a large media agency in London, that is looking for a Bi Specialist / Data Engineer to join a growing team for initially 6 months. My client has a real depth of experience and expertise. The team has worked across many sectors as well as working for Media Owners, Clients and agencies. This puts the company in a strong position to understand the market from all perspectives, ensuring they are delivering their clients the campaign they all need. This client immerses themselves in the client's business so that they become one of their team, allowing clients to gain confidence in their abilities.
My client has varied teams across the organisation, some that are using AWS to an advanced level and some teams that are migrating as we speak. In this particular project, to be transparent we have not been told too much. The client has said to us that he would like to get people in for an interview to talk 1on1 about the expectations and what phase of the project they are at.
We work with this client a lot on the permanent side of the market and have great feedback from those candidates about the work-life balance, communication and team spirit. Now obviously on the contract side, you don't always have to worry about the culture as much, however, I think it is good for you to know that throughout this project you will be given the tools and teams to be independent. They want a contractor that is a strong communicator, someone who can discuss what they're doing and find solutions to problems.
